I'm not sure what happened to my original review but it's now gone. This 4.8 is bs. My husband and I saw a roach crawling in the daytime which means it's heavily infected. The old guy cooking was microwaving everything except for the gravy. He pulled the Mac and cheese out of something on the counter then threw in a bowl to microwave. Same with the rice. No proper hand washing. We felt sick for the rest of the day. Just nasty. A waste of $35. If yall keep deleting my review then I will keep posting. People need to be aware of your business practices.

Run, don't walk, to Stancil's Lounge! Food was amazing! Fried chicken, mac and cheese, fries, humongous hush puppies, and the sweet tea is just like grandma made it. A hidden gem, for sure.

A friend took us here a few weeks ago. Talk about an unknown (at least to me) great soul food country kitchen we were amazed at the food quality, preparation and taste. The owners were extremely friendly and came out to greet us since it was our 1st time there. The lunchtime crowd was steady and seemed that no one minded waiting for their food to be cooked to order. We will definitely be back.

Everything was amazing!!!! I felt like I was sitting at my grandma's table!!! The banana pudding is homemade not that instant pudding stuff but baked homemade banana pudding, I was in heaven. If you are in the area or even if ur not it's definitely worth the trip and I will be returning ☺️ ? ?

Great down home southern food! I had the fried fish plate with collars and yams. My wife enjoyed the liver with rice, gravy, yams and green beans! The plate also come with 3 large hush puppies that are awesome. No food was wasted!

My daughter, her hubby, a friend of the family, and myself went to Stancils Grill this evening. I try to go there every time I'm in town. I truly love Ms. Irene and her family . The food is awesome and the environment is warm. you will not leave hungry . I really love and enjoy going here.
