Hotdogs are made of chicken. Not a fan. We ordered 3 hotdogs and was charged $9.39

I am 61 so I am old. This place had the absolute rudest older woman!!! Unbelievably hateful!! There were two young girls there and all three acted like my wife and I and several other customers were just an inconvenience to them! If you hate your job why don’t you find one that you like. We waited 10-15 minutes for our turn in line and saw no customers rude or aggravated. The woman was rude to a man whose order they got wrong and to us. Ice cream was good but you can get Hershey’s at alot of places. I certainly will not waste my time or money here again. We try to patronize small businesses when we can but not this one again. Stop where they appreciate you. We haven’t stopped here in years but try to when we go up hwy 16 from Wilkesboro to the parkway. Not again. You basically have 1 chance to make a 1st impression and they failed!!!!!

Stopped in for ice cream. Nostalgic little place. I hadn’t been since I was a kid. Only take away, was the lady helping was short with us and obviously unhappy.

Today on 7/1/25! Me and my family had called in an order. We got there and picked it up and THEY got our order wrong! So I paid for the food they had fixed and I waited on the rest of my food. So I took the food I paid for out to the car to my dad. So I went back in and I went ahead and paid for the food I was waiting on so I stood there waiting on my food which was like 4 foot longs. So I waited and waited and waited and watching at all the people that were coming and going when we finally got our food it was terrible they didn’t even cook the hotdogs and my order had been sitting on the counter for almost an hour. The mayo that was on my foot long was melted and our buns were completely wet and soggy and food that I had took to car was so bad bc it had been sitting in the car for over an hour and it was terrible and I will not eat there ever again and I PROMISE THAT I WILL TELL EVERYONE THAT I CAN NOT TO EAT THERE AND oh yeah the that is in the front with the raspy voice is so rude to customers and I know that she was the one who took my order and she let my food sit on the counter for about an hour

Their chilli cheese fries are scrumptious. I really love their sweet chilli.

If you want country food or good ice cream good place to go

We moved to the Miller's Creek area about two years ago, but had previously driven past the igloo several times. While renovating our house it was a staple meal. I'm a hot dog fan and really like their dogs and their crinkle fries are always piping hot and crispy!

YES it is cash only
YES it is no frills
YES it can take awhile to get your food. Get some soft serve and wait your turn.

The nice ladies gave my dog a free hot dog once. We love the Igloo!

Been here many times over the years. I can only speak for the hotdogs as that is all I have gotten. (and fries) Easily in the 2 hundreds of them. Have gotten even better lately. Great.

Food is great but the one lady that works in there is absolutely rude to the customers. Get rid of her and it would be a much better place to visit
