We had the small seafood platters as takeout last night. The food was so good. The fish was seasoned and fried perfectly. The pototoes were well baked, fluffy and light. The price was within reason for the amount of food you receive. Can’t wait to enjoy this again!

Last nite we had guest and decided to try Mad Jax. Was wonderful!!! We picked up 4 big plates of seafood and it was hot and portions were amazing. Was really good will do again.

Mad Jax is the best restaurant. I took my friend there for her birthday. We both got rib eyes with baked sweet potato & slaw. This has to be the best rib eye steak I've ever had in a restaurant. It was cooked a perfect medium rare, perfectly seasoned & so good. No steak sauce is required because the rib eyes were so tasty no need for anything else. The baked sweet potato & slaw were great. You get a basket of hush puppies that will make your mouth water, they are so good. The prices are reasonable & fully worth every penny for such a perfect steak. The wait staff are so friendly, charming & nice. We had every need taken care of. Everyone was so nice to us. They treated us great. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Wilkes County, NC. I highly recommend eating here. I always have the rib eye but I've been told the seafood is excellent too. I plan on trying it soon. Go to Mad Jax. Fun atmosphere, awesome food. This is a great place to eat.
Nice local spot. We were traveling for a few days and staying in Miller’s Creek. I needed something local so I did a call-in/take out order. My son had a chicken sandwich…he said it was good (but they forgot his fries and I didn’t notice until I got “home”). I got the blackened chicken with ghost pepper cheese…it was yummy and I think it was three smaller breast slices! The side salad was lacking and the steamed veggies were basic but still decent. We would definitely go back if we’re in town.

Kid-friendliness: Staff was very friendly to the kids I saw in there, even give them stuff out of a treasure box thing. I also saw some kids just walk up to treasure box and pick them something out.
