We had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was flavorful and authentic, but what really made the evening special was the service. Our waiter, Sadashivam, was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain the dishes, checked in at the perfect moments, and made us feel truly welcome. His hospitality added so much to our dining experience. Highly recommend this place, and a big thank you to Sadashivam for making our visit memorable!

I’ve visited BLR about five times in a row recently, including today, and each time I’ve gone specifically hoping to try their signature “button idly”. When I first started coming here, right after the restaurant opened, I noticed the button idly on the menu. I really love the button idly and I came here exclusively for it. However, every single time I’ve asked recently, I’ve been told it’s not available. Today, I learned that they no longer serve it at all. However, I was a bit surprised to see that the dish still appears on their updated menu. It left me wondering if it’s simply kept there for marketing purposes or if it was meant to be removed but hasn’t been updated yet. I’m sure I’m not the only guest who asks about “button idly” regularly, so it might be helpful if the restaurant could either bring it back or remove it from the menu to avoid confusion. That said, I appreciate the overall dining experience at BLR and hope they continue refining their menu for clarity.

Absolutely the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Having lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Austin, and Orlando, I’ve been fortunate to eat some incredible Indian food. This restaurant (in North Carolina of all places), was the greatest flavor, texture and overall experience. Our incredible server, Sadhasivam, suggested our entire menu, and he did NOT disappoint! We had Paneer and Naan but the intensity of flavors was so incredible that I couldn’t even finish my food. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I have been a regular at BLR since it opened. Love the food and love the friendly atmosphere. Lately the food has been deteriorating every visit. Last evening, we spent over $100 for a family of four. Three out of four of us came back with stomach issues. The potatoes in the masala dosa were off. The chutney tasted stale, the coffee was spilled over in the container, and the dosa itself was oily and thick. It didn't taste anything like before. Sad to see the quality condone at a place we loved and visited multiple times a week. Please bring back the same ambiance and the same quality as before.

Good place to enjoy Bangalore style Dosa’s and Tiffins (Vada, Poori Sagoo, Pongal, Kesari bhath are a must try). Do not miss their Afghani Paneer Tikka & Palak paneer for lunch/dinner. Been a regular for over 2 years now, would want to see the chef experiment with other chutneys (standard is coconut & tomato). Wait staff is friendly & attentive, would highly recommend this joint for a quick vegetarian meal.

Food was good as usual but the attitude of the manager was very disrespectful. I paid over a 100$ and was charged a gratuity of around 20$ without letting me know. I tried calling them to take out the charge but the manager said to my face that “I shouldn’t have come in for dine-in if I can’t afford it” and disconnected the call. I called again later and I spoke to Rupesh who was helpful. I have seen this arrogance and disrespectful attitude at their other location - only with their managers. Need a resolution on this ASAP.

Great place for vegetarians as this is veg-only Indian restaurant. Variety of sub-cuisines but limoted items within makes each of them special. Cost is slightly on the higher side, but ample quantities balance make it worth it. We tried Panner Bhurji Masala and Dal Fry, both tasted great.
