Awesome time and great food! The atmosphere was great and the service would wonderful! We will definitely at here again!
This was our third time dining here for our anniversary. The food is always amazing. We had the ribeye & filet with baked potato, grilled asparagus and salads. For dessert we had the Mike Hugh chocolate cake w/cappuccino ice cream truffle (you must try this!) and a special layered cheesecake as a gift for our anniversary. Everything from the wait staff, environment and food is always great. We only go here for our anniversary because it is rather pricey and we live an hour away. When you make a reservation, you are asked if you are celebrating anything special like a birthday or anniversary, etc. All three times I noted it was for our anniversary(online and over the phone), but the wait staff did not mention it, even though they offer a “special” dessert for an anniversary. We had to ask for the dessert. It may seem petty, but I feel that if they ask you what you're celebrating at the time you make a reservation, they should make the wait staff aware of that. I should not have to remind them of it.
We came for dinner tonight and was an extreme disappointment to have spent $150 for the two of us.
Our waiter felt like he was on another planet so confused and forgetful. He forgot our appetizer even existed and I had to ask the person who brought the main course out where it was. He was literally in the middle of a sentence and said “wait one second”, and didn’t come back for like 5 minutes?? He also kept disappearing and I feel like we were kept an additional like 45 minutes due to his delays and disappearing.
We never received the proper silverware/ knives nor were we ever offered the fresh pepper. We were never offered another round of drinks. He did not make one attempt at pleasant conversation.
I’d recommend skipping this place!

We went to the Chop House to celebrate a friend's birthday. The bartender was very friendly and provided a refreshing pre-dinner cocktail. Our server Kristen, was knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and well presented. Three of the four of us had never dined there before but we'll definitely return again. Only negative comment is that it was a bit chilly in the restaurant but it's in between seasons time of year with warmer days and chilly nights so may have been difficult to negotiate. Hint: Both the bartender and Kristen said that the restaurant is slower and quieter on Friday and Saturday if that's what you enjoy. They are much busier during the week because of business functions and travelers with the proximity to airport and hotels.
Classic chop house experience. Generous portions, old school ambiance and top service. I had the prime rib, wife had the burger. App was focaccia and dessert was the mile high chocolate cake. Enjoyed it!!
I love the chop house. Its one of our favorite places to go when we are in town. I was initially disappointed with this visit. We had made a reservation and were meeting a group. The gentleman who took us to our table seemed... annoyed we were there? He took us to a table, sat us, didn't bring us menus. After sitting for awhile (@ 10 minutes), another host came and got us and took us to another table and said they had a table already set up for us. We walked right by the original gentleman and he just ignored us. The rest of the meal was excellent and the waiter was great but i was disappointed in the initial greeting. There are lots of options in the Triangle and i hate to see such a great restaurant be negatively impacted by the initial impression or an employee who clearly wasnt into being there.
A hidden gem. Jesse provided exceptional service for our date night, and we will definitely return.

I eat here regularly when traveling in & out of Raleigh. I usually get a steak ( which has always been very good). Last night instead I ordered the prime rib special. I was disappointed as it was over cooked, very dry, and hard to chew. I am guessing this was an anomaly and plan to return. Service and atmosphere was excellent.
Food was very good and the service was exceptional ask for Stefan. One thing though I hope they bring back the coconut cake to the dessert menu.
Excellent business dinner with Stephan as our server. Delicious food with outstanding service
The food, drinks and services are fantastic as always. The Waitress gave us very nice advices.
What a fabulous dinner ! Our party of 4 decided to order appetizers. We were amazed at the portions and how wonderful they were and the presentation was amazing. The portions were so large, that we had to box half of them up so that we could leave room for our dinner. The fish was so fresh and the steaks were outstanding. We truly enjoyed our dinner and will go back again. A hidden secret amongst the street & hotels near our home & the airport. Our server, Sam (Samantha) was funny, cordial & spot on when she recommended dishes that were on the menu. That night, they had Prime Rib as a special. YUM !! It was cooked just right and so tasty.
