Chaat Mandi

Very bad experience. Not worth to visit this restaurant.

Food is flavour less, avoid it.

We ordered chicken 65 which is written as today’s special near the entrance, that is very hard to chew. Samosa chat is clearly smelling yesterday evenings. Panipuri is the worst I ever ate. I don’t want to give rating at all. Last time I went there with my friends for dinner, then food was good. But this time for lunch they just served left over food from yesterday.

This is by far the worst food Ive had at an Indian restaurant in a long time

Vadapav was so difficult to bite through like stone and the taste was bland.

And the manchurian with friend was even worse, never coming abck herr

The place has good ambiance and a large menu to order food items from. The service was very good and quick. However, don't get your hopes up on the taste of the food. Not worth the price. $18 for a mediocre chana bhatura, seriously?

Was curious to try the maska bun — but honestly, quite disappointing. The butter tasted low quality, and for the price, the portion and overall experience just didn’t justify it. Also ordered the karak chai, but never got the chance to try it — we waited for over 30 minutes while it was supposedly “in preparation” the whole time. Not the kind of service or quality you’d expect at this price point.

We recently visited Chat.Maandi and ordered samosa chaat, sev puri, and two chai. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The chai was horrible—there seemed to be no milk in it, and the overpowering taste of cloves made it nearly undrinkable. The sev puri was just okay but far too sour for my liking. The only saving grace was the samosa chaat, which was reasonably good.

We’ve had a much better experience here in the past, especially with the chai and chaat, but this visit changed our opinion. Sadly, I don't think we'll be coming back again.

We visited Chaat Mandi today and ordered the Vada Pav, Bhel Puri, and Paneer Kathi Roll. The place wasn’t crowded, but the food still felt rushed.

The Bhel Puri tasted like it was made from a store-bought mix — not fresh at all, and it didn’t have any veggies, not even onions.

The Kathi Roll had a good filling, but the paratha was not toasted enough.

The Vada Pav was pretty dry and didn’t have enough chutney. They served a green chutney as a side but it was super raw — all I could taste was mint and coriander.

Also , manga lassi was served in a chai siz
e cup!

Overall, average food for the price paid. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Nice small place with authentic high quality food. Had the papri chaat, chole bature, veg noodle burger which were all outstanding. The chai was excellent. Jalebi with rabdri was cold and terrible in taste, but overall everything else was great!

We loved this place. It's really cute inside and so many options to choose from. The chef helped us understand the menu and when we got our cooked to order food we were so happy. Absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices. Friendly place. We highly recommend.
