I always liked the food but for my last order the food given(tAke aways) was like the left overs from their buffet menu. If u dont have food just say no and dont serve leftovers . You have lost a customer. Idly was stale. The paneer 55 biryani was pathetic and biryani rice was like leftover ( all white and little yellow ones ) and panner was not eatable. Waste my money.

EVERYTHING was so good, we will definitely be back! I know there plenty of restaurants like this but the freshness of the bread honestly everything was amazing. Portion size are large and you will have leftovers

We ordered non-veg Thali for my husband and veg Thali for me. In veg Thali, we had rice, sambar, poriyal, veg curry, paneer Tikka masala, naan, papad, butter milk, and some sweet.. sweet could have been better. Sambar was good. Paneer Tikka masala was not spicy. Decent meal for $11.99. I wish we had more options to choose.

Had food twice here, once for lunch, a good portion size Thali, it was good.Tonight I had idli and my friend had egg biryani which was good. Idli sambar chutney reminds me of my hometown Kundapura, similar tastes and texture. Staffs are good, interaction while ordering and payment was so positive, it feels divine to eat here.

The buffet lunch is gone, the waiters/service is terrible. The food taste good, but you have to order off the menu and the portions are small compared to the value you used to get at the buffet. The waiters never smiled the whole time, they refused to take the dirty plates off the table and he never came back after the food was served other than to give me the check. This place has gone way downhill fast. I’ve gone here for years, but after today I will never go there again.Response to the ownerI understand that we are in a pandemic and your restaurant is struggling like many across the country which is why I chose to support your restaurant. I also brought a friend to help support you. I truly understand your establishment needing to shut down the buffet, but there is simply no excuse for the poor service your waiters provided while we were in your establishment. In most cases this is caused by a lack of training, but your waiter flat out refused to clear the table of dirty dishes when I asked him to, so we could continue to enjoy our time in your restaurant. There is simply no excuse for that other than your staff being rude. The correct response from you should have been an apology and a willingness to correct the problem, not using the pandemic as an excuse for why the waiter refused to provide friendly prompt service. I will be sure to tell my friends and co-workers about my experience in your restaurant as well as your response.

Love the food here. Best we've had as a family. We've dined in several times as well as have a catered dinner for NYE. EVERY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN GREAT.The staff is friendly and happy to see return customers.

Had a large group of 12+ here for dinner. Firstly, making reservations was so easy, they were quick to communicate with me and were accommodating for a large group even though I couldn't give an exact number of attendees until the last minute. Our waiter during dinner was absolutely phenomenal. All of us love the cuisine but are novices and our waiter made great suggestions for each person. The food was fantastic, every bite truly amazing. I would order every single thing again. Everyone in the group now wants to make this a tradition, we will all definitely be back.

The dishes here are on the spicier side, but I still enjoy it. Cannot beat the on-demand dosa station! I wish the food had some better signage but am always happy to try new things, too.

Tried this restaurant during our last two trips to the Raleigh area and was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was very nice. Had a live dosa and a large variety of veg and non veg items to choose from. I typically eat veg but I did decide to taste a few of the chicken items. Tandoori chicken was great. Chettinad chicken was okay. Onion pakoras tasty. Chicken tikka masala tasty. Navratna Korma was amazing. Chicken curry amazing. Fresh naan amazing. Mysore masala dosa tasty. Sambar AMAZING! they also have chutneys, onions, chilis etc Available which was nice. Wish I could have tried everything! I was very happy with the food and service here. The price of the buffet is very fair for the offerings. We will definitely be back.

The food is decent here but the 3 stars is because of a recent incident I had there. In all my years of eating at an Indian restaurant I have NEVER had anyone offer me a store bought or generic hot sauce! Usually the food is either made spicy or they have an in house hot sauce to add to the food! This past week they gave me packets of Louisiana Hot Sauce! At first I thought it was some joke but nope it was for real! WOWZERS That is a big NO NO! Oh boy...

With the buffet back after some time it was a terrible experience. Crowded with most people not wearing masks while jostling in the buffet line for some bad tasting food across everything that was laid out. Food taste and quality both were terrible. The hotel staff was wearing masks, but beyond that no rules of safety was followed not was there any signs of sanitizers etc.. Overall a typically bad Indian buffet experience that is becoming the norm than the exception

Food wasn't all that great to begin with and over priced... and then I found a hair in the food. Thought maybe it was my own hair that had fallen in, until I found a second one. Then I was just done. And when cleaning up, there was a third hair that was definitely NOT mine. Won't be ordering here again.

Dharani was a great location to celebrate my wife's birthday! The staff was extremely helpful in planning right from choosing the menu and helping with the decor. Rakesh especially helped coordinate the event and make it a success! Would definitely recommend Dharani and its staff.

Remains the best South Indian food I’ve had on the east coast. And impressively they have stayed true to their roots over the six years I’ve been eating here. Their weekend buffets are a must visit. And they are conscientious about hygiene and physical distancing during the pandemic (e.g., have gloves for customers to wear while at the buffet).

After pandemic, Customers came back again.I enjoy true Indian cuisine. I enjoy the variety and volume of dishes. The clerk quickly noticed the change additional water and dishes on our table, and I mistook on payment today but the clerk said no problem with great smile. Thanks , I will come back again.
