I asked for pepper steak no bell peppers not knowing I was going to get more onions than meat . I was so disappointed and will not be going back . The rice was good but had to pick thru all the onions to get the few pieces of meat
Eastern China offered a solid meal with highlights and a few misses. The shrimp egg foo young and sesame chicken with rice were good, though lacking some seasoning and spice. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy, the lemonade refreshing, and we loved the charming carryout keepsake bag. Would try again!
The food quality is good, not too greasy.
Good authentic chinese. Best I’ve had in a while. Everything was so smooth from ordering at a kiosk which the full menu and pictures and you can do any modifications or you can order in person. Food was made fresh and very hot I’m glad we stopped by today. Stop in if you are looking for good Chinese. I live in Raleigh but it was definitely worth the drive. And the packaging was impeccable. 4.3 stars does not do this place justice. They need the 5 stars from my experience today. I had the king pow chicken
Always loved Eastern China and today when in the area, I placed an order for Bourbon Chicken. Unfortunatly, it was not chicken, but pork and was not cooked through. The manager was argumentive and dismissive. Very dissapointed and I will not be back.
Best Chinese food in the area
We got the bourbon chicken combo dinner and the general tso’s chicken combo dinner for takeout. We spent just under $25 for the two meals. Each comes with an egg roll and pork fried rice. The egg rolls were fine. My rice was undercooked or maybe reheated to the point of being hard. The bourbon chicken was great. I loved the sauce and the texture was good. But the general tso’s chicken was awful. The outside was soggy (breaded as they mention in another comment, which is fine, but what’s the point of breading it if it’s going to get mushy?), but the inside was super chewy and inedible. I felt bad for my boyfriend and shared my entree with him.
Not from the area, so totally jealous of you locals!! This place has some amazing food. Everything was made to order, FRESH!! Piping Hot...delicious!! Ive had really bad chinese food and really good chinese food, THIS IS TOWARD THE TOP FOR SURE. I think from when we ordered to when she handled me a reusable custom large order carrying bag...it was only like 15-20 mins.
They do have a small dining area thats super clean if u want to eat in or they package everything up really nice for take out.
Again, LOCALS...take advantage of this place....Its so good! ??
Keep up the good job!

The food here is fabulous....it's strictly to go...they also removed the tables outside the restaurant! The food is really good and freshly made. They are nice about special requests with food and custom variations of dishes. Their soups are awesome. Perfect sodium levels. It would be nice if they offered better quality cutlery (spoons/forks). The ones now are super small and break easily with first few bites. Love that they have reasonable prices. Also the lady who answers the phone is always pleasant and patient. It's my go to Chinese spot.

I love this place! Discovered it last year and it’s some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had. The lo mein is delicious and you get a lot of food for what you pay!

Just got the black pepper chicken and it’s way too sweet. It’s like they took the Americanization of Chinese food (add more sugar) to an extreme.
I loved this food and the man at the front was very kind :)
