It used to be the unique and my best go to restaurant for vada pav and misal pav. They used to serve best vada pav in Raleigh. I was shocked when I saw whole new menu and got upset because they don't have the same taste anymore. The new management is not very good in maintaining the legacy of gulli boys, and serve common food what other Indian restaurants have.
Food tastes ok but prices are very expensive. Asked for an extra egg in my noodles and they said 2$ extra for each egg which is ridiculous. I would literally get 6 pack eggs for 2$ and it makes no sense. There are better places for cheaper price and better service.
Loved the place, food and staff. When one of the staff felt that I did not like there naan. In few minutes they offered me another type of naan without charging. Giving 5 start with a suggestion that high chairs for children needs to cleaned as often as dining tables.
Wasn’t too hungry so decided to give this place a try thinking we will just eat some snacks. Didn’t see vada pav or other typical Mumbai snacks. We were about to walk out but decided to give it a try. I was truly surprised. Really good food in terms of quality and taste. Right mix of spices and chutney so bring out the flavors. We ordered chicken kathi roll, anarkali gobhi and apple jilebi ice cream. Prices are little higher for quantity but quality makes it up for that. Ambiance is okay. Nothing fancy.
I always crave for best garlic naan and butter paneer combination and this is the best place for that. I asked chef Nikhil to make thin naan and he simply surprised me with the best garlic naan I ever ate in my life. Then I asked what do you suggest as my family trying 1st time here, he said Chicken thandoor bone-in.. and again this is the best I had in my life. I also tried Samosa chat and it is delicious. Its a must visit place for authentic Indian food. If you can explain the chef exactly your taste, he will sure surprise you.
Ordered Hakka noodles, charged $14 even its not worth of $5 also. The Quantity was very very less and taste was not that much good.Very much disappointed and ended up just ordering Noodles.Don't recommend at all to anyone
This place is under new management (Nikhil, I believe is the new owner). The food was delicious, and the service (Lexi) was exceptional. We ordered a wide variety of apps, our favorite was the Soya Chaap (the kebabs). Everything we ordered including the desserts, Gulab Jamun and the halwa tasted fresh. We are coming back and bringing others along with us.
Delicious food and awesome service! Must try!!
Nikhil Chouhan - Chef ( Heartbeat) of Gulli Boys Keep up the great service and mouth watering food !! RTP dont miss the great authentic flavor served with lots of passion. Addicted already to this place. Have tried almost 12 dishes off menu and all are just amazing. Must try : Murg sheekh kabab, Soya chap, Chowpati chaat, Gulkand Phirni, Papad Paneer.

Wanted to try this place for a very long time . So ordered dinner to go . The food was good and hot . But the best was Aaloo tikki chaat what they call it ‘ kurkuri Tikki Chat ‘ it was different from regular ones we had before but definitely the most delicious one . Must try .
What an amazing place for having a good authentic Mumbai desi food….!Especially had the kebab and some chef special entrees like chicken curry and rolls are best ever dishes I have never ever had before.Usually I don’t write reviews but you guys if you are from India and familiar with the food this is the one and only perfect spot to get in to.Would love to come back again and again….!Good ambience and good service, and even the chef was really amazing, came back to check with us if everything was good and okay
I love Gulli boys . It is my favorite Indian food place in the Triangle. The food has superb quality, the service is excellence, ambiance comfortable. The prices are reasonable and if you want the best curry in the Triangle, this is where you need to go. Its excellent food, truly.
I've ordered the paneer roll before which was great - tasty and moderately priced for the size of the roll (which is huge). But today they were out of it so I ordered paneer noodles which is not good - and not worth the money. However I will give this place a few more tries.
Items ordered - bhurji pav, egg noodles & chicken tikka roll
