Honest Indian Vegetarian Restaurant

Experienced Negligence. I had a big piece of plastic in my food. If i have eaten that I could choke myself. I went to show them. They took plate, went inside and never came back or answered anything. It wasn’t that busy at all. Also they charged a big portion of tip for such a slow service by themselves on my bill. It’s up to a customer how much tip they want to pay.

Honest Restaurant in Morrisville is a real treat for vegetarians. It’s refreshing to find a place that’s 100% vegetarian while still offering such a wide variety of options—everything from South Indian favorites like dosas, to North Indian dishes, chaat, sandwiches, and more. The menu is extremely vast, so there’s something for everyone.

The food arrives in a reasonable amount of time, but it does tend to come out staggered, so some people at the table may be eating while others are still waiting. That said, the food is fresh and quite good overall. We went on a weekend evening, and while it was packed (as it usually is), the crowd just reinforced that it’s a sought-after spot.

The restaurant is casual, family-friendly, and great for big groups. You place your order at the counter and wait for your food, and they provide plenty of takeout boxes for leftovers, which is very convenient.

Overall, we had a great experience here. With such a huge menu, we know we’ll need to go back again to try more of the options. There’s plenty of parking so that’s very convenient!

The food was decent and good quantity but a little pricey. The restaurant serves on disposable plates and plastic spoons. Would have atleast expected a proper plate and cutlery for the price they charge. Even raita for fried rice is separate extra charge.

Pav bhaji was literally nothing like pav bhaji, dosa was decent, indo Chinese was also decent in quality. But charging 15% gratuity was not worth it for service they gave.

Huge vegetarian menu, no other restaurant in RTP makes the Red Meethi chutney like they do. Must try their Dahi Puri, Dahi Papdi chat, VadaPav & Sandwiches. It does get crowded sometimes but overall a decent dine out experience always.

This place used to be a good one. But last 2 visits, just okay , I prefer a taco bell over this.

I had such a great experience here! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the manager made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!
