La Cucina Italiana (Morrisville)

This is the best Italian restaurant in North Carolina! I come here every week they got New York style pizza, pasta, calzone’s, sandwiches and a whole lot of other stuff! Everything is fresh made to order, definitely tap in‼️

I enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. Loved the sauce. Their Penne alla Vodka was delicious! The reason I gave it 4stars was the Greek salad was a disappointment. Could hardly find the banana peppers. They were not whole, but cut up small. Same with Kalamata olives. They should never be cut up! The main reason I order Greek salad is for the peppers and olives. The service was great. Friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is the one on Glenwood Ave.

This place is not what I thought it would be. It's not really a restaurant. You order at the counter, no bread or rolls, etc... No one there seems Italian. Had the chicken cacciatore and the chicken seemed overdone. I was disappointed in this Italian place

We did not feel welcomed from the moment we walked through the front door. Some of the staff, along with whom I’m assuming was the owner, were eating, and came across as put out that we were interrupting their meal.We ordered the Shrimp Fra Diablo. The pasta/sauce was VERY watery, and as somebody that excels at cooking, the flavor of the sauce was sub par. There was so much crushed red pepper in the sauce, that the flavor of the sauce was diminished. And with so much water on the plates, I wouldn’t be surprised if the food was reheated from frozen. If you want authentic Italian food, go somewhere else!

We used La Cucina for catering for a team event and they were wonderful. Mohamed did an amazing job adjusting for different dietary restrictions. The food was incredible and made fresh every day and it showed. Cannot recommend them enough

The owners are a fantastic bunch along with the team. I have been going to this hidden gem since 2019. Great Halal selection as well. The pizza and wings both rank #1 in NC. It is not even close!
