Good pizza.
The best cheese pizza I have found in the Triangle. Have tried pizza in many places, but this is the best because it tastes like the pizza I had when I lived in the NY metropolitan area.Terrific sauce, cheese, herbs and the crust is perfect, just crispy enough without being too thin. Love it.Other food is good too, but the pizza is why we go there.
Lubrano's is hands down my favorite Italian place in Morrisville. They always provide amazing food and the servers are also very friendly. Once, my order was mixed up due to new system and they delivered the corrected order very quickly. I simply called in and said I think something happened with my order and immediately it was corrected. Hands down, best Italian place around.
I'm not sure why this place has so many good reviews, because the food is pretty terrible -- at least, the couple of items we ate during our single visit were. It's not just that the food tasted bad either, it also suffered from some serious technical problems. The tomato sauce was basically just tomato paste mixed with water, the eggplant was bitter and slimy, and the pastas were chewy from overcooking. Also, the ingredients, like the mozzarella, were of a cheap, store-bought quality. To be fair, none of the other dozen-or-so so-called "Italian" restaurants in the area are any better, which is strange for an area with so many former New Yorkers, but this one had an oddly high rating, so I felt compelled to share my experience.
It's the best. The gnocchi is our favorite dish, pizza is great - why order Domino's when you can get authentic Italian pizza and support a local business at the same time. Love this place!
Meh. Pizza barely average or less. Italian food ok. Tried it once and we would not bother going back. Restaurant atmosphere lacking.
Food is great, nice seating area. Really enjoy the pasta dishes. Good location, not too busy.
