We had lunch here recently and because we were early, we were seated immediately and had the place to ourselves. It was our second time here, and we had a great lunch. Our server was friendly and efficient. Our food was excellent, I had a beef chimichanga, and we started with complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered queso and guacamole to accompany the chips. The meal presentation was great and portions were a good size. The interior decor is pretty, with greenery and flowers on the ceiling and walls. Cute restaurant and worth a stop, if you are craving Mexican!

The food (enchiladas sampler which is four enchiladas) was served cold to Luke warm. They did reheat but they were still cold to Luke warm. Other than, every thing was great but not outstanding.

The food is really stellar and ambiance is obviously really neat/unique (I mean a cat robot brings you your meal...c'mon). All the staff were kind and quick, have been a few times and it's a winner.

What really sets Mamacita‘s part, though, is the amazing service. Yami is an absolute gem - so warm, welcoming and genuinely accommodating. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels at home and is taking care of. Her positive energy lights up the place!
Additionally, Rogelio, the manger is always present, welcoming, attentive and ensures everything comes out just right! You can tell he truly cares about the guest experience and takes pride and running a smooth friendly operation.

The bartender Yami (Yamilet) was nasty to one of the gentlemen that works there. I spoke up to the guy and told him, she shouldn’t be treating him nor speaking to him like that. He apologized on her behalf and said she’s normally like that. I told him that’s not professional and shouldn’t be like that to him or in front of customers. They didn’t have the shot we wanted so we were simply asking if they had an alternative exotic shot. He had to go back and forth a few times because he wasn’t sure and then she told him what we have on the menu is what they have. We just wanted to know if they had something similar. He just kept apologizing. We told him it was okay. He offered us free drinks we declined it and he insisted. So we agreed before even getting the drinks yami said out loud “se van a quejar otra vez” when we weren’t even complaining. I just didn’t like her attitude/tone towards the gentleman. She wasn’t professional at all, before we left we were the only ones there they communicated to her on what I said and there she goes with her snarky comment talking about “me vale”.

We placed a pickup order from Mamacita in Morrisville, and when we got home, my son cut into his carne asada burrito, only to find shrimp inside (he has a shellfish allergy). The staff went above and beyond to make it right. The owner personally drove the correct order all the way to downtown Cary. Mistakes happen, but it’s how a they are handled that counts. Big thanks to the Mamacita team!
