Delicious and authentic Chinese food (and really good Chinese American options too!). Their menu is impressively extensive, and every dish that I’ve tried has been so good. My go-tos are salt and pepper fish (the batter, omg), green beans with pork, and the eggiest egg drop soup ❤️ It’s like walking into an uncle/aunts home and getting to eat all your favorite things. So happy I found this place and can’t wait to come back soon.
This is the best Asian food in NC I’ve ever had in my life!! Born here and never tasted such great quality until now. Felt like I was in local Chinatown with the flavors. If you’re off the plane or waiting to catch one RUN don’t walk and grab some food to go. They are worth a stop and return visit.

My husband and I both lived in East Asia for several years. This is the most authentic Chinese food we have been able to find. Also, if you speak mandarin they love to chat with you :)This is our favorite go-to now!
I am always on the lookout for a great restaurant, as a foodie. To find one, I had to travel 30 mins. to a town over from Durham to enjoy delicious fresh cuisine. I am very content now. ?♥️

Peng's is one of the best local finds I've discovered trying restaurants since my recent move to the area. I had the spicy wontons appetizer. For my main, I had string beans with ground pork, spicy chicken, and eggplant with garlic sauce casserole. Everything was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were well considered. I highly recommend giving this place a try because my experience was delightful and I'm confident yours would be too! I look forward to trying more dishes here during future visits.

Found this place in our travels and glad we did! This place is outstanding. Food, service and atmosphere are awesome. This place is NOTHING like your typical Chinese restaurant. The food actually has flavor, made with love. We will be returning the next time we are in town.
It always smells fantastic. Finally went in one day and I wasn't disappointed. The owner/manager was very friendly and even gave me some personal recommendations to try. I have to say, though, that egg drop soup... it reminds me of the best egg drop soup I ever had. (That chef retired) Peng's is now my new go-to for egg drop soup! You have to try it to understand.

We ordered takeout, got our food on time but the food was mediocre. For what we spent I was very disappointed with what we got, everything tasted a little bit like burnt oil and bot good. The dumplings were good, but the pad thai was terrible. I will not go back.

So, if you didn't know, now you do. This is the best bang for your buck Chinese restaurant around! Great prices, wonderful owners/staff, the ambiance leaves a bit to desire but that is as critical as I can be. If you like egg drop soup...the best around. If you like General Tso's...the best around. Hot and sour soup, egg roll, beef and broccoli....curry chicken...you can't go wrong. I don't know anyone that doesn't love this place after having it. Go spend your money with a local business that had to close during Covid and is now back trying to make another go at it. This place is what it is all about!
