I like the chicken biscuits. The doughnuts are forgettable. But what I find egregious is a restaurant in the South, advertising Southern food (fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, etc), that does not offer SWEET TEA. This guy right here, he's my MVP for the day.
So last night was a late to bed and early to rise, cue a less than optimal momma.
We get out the door to school a little late, but without major issues.
It's my turn to bring breakfast for the work, no problem. Rise biscuits it is!
I get to Rise, put in my order and go to pay.
BIG PROBLEM - no wallet.
A few curse words mumbled while I rummage through my purse, realizing I have no funds of any kind.

Raspberry filled and apple fritter donuts were not fresh this morning. Also apple fritter is smaller than ever. This location won’t survive if you’ll don’t turn it around. I’ve been coming to this location for years, but will switch to Southpoint location after today’s disappointment. Sad.

Based on reviews, Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken is a great little spot with amazing, friendly, and quick staff who care. The food is really good, including the breakfast box with chicken, two fried eggs, and tots with boom boom sauce, as well as biscuits and gravy with chicken. The biscuit is fluffy, the tots are crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the egg is cooked perfect to order. It is self check-in with self-order at a kiosk. There is not a lot of dine-in space, but there are ample tables outside in the courtyard area. It is a little pricey for the amount of food you get. The level of customer service at this location is impressive, with staff fixing order mistakes, matching high energy, and processing refunds quickly.
