I'm a truck driver, so I have tried Subway in too many cities, and this one has to be the worst. I usually use coupons at any location, but I couldn't use it here, even though I used another one like this two days ago at another Subway. I also ordered double meat on my sub and paid for it, but the sub was just regular. I'm very disappointed; I've never been scammed like this at a Subway.

The couple who owns this location are angry, rude, and cheap. I have visited this location because it is close to my job, so I’ve been there about six or seven times.

Each time, they have either yelled at me or other customers in front of me, they tried to charge me more than the menu listed prices, and if you watch them prepare your sandwich, they always short you on the amount of product that is supposed to be on the sandwich. I’ve even researched what the appropriate amounts are. These are terrible business practices that should not be supported.

I enjoy Subway, but I would never recommend this location to anybody.

My wife and I live within walking distance of this location. My wife just gave birth to our beautiful daughter a month ago and I wanted to celebrate that (with Sam & Nita) by acknowledging the incredible customer service we’ve received since we’ve moved into the area. Subway ended up being a staple dinner for us as we started incorporating evening walks into our routine since the first month of pregnancy. We always found our way to location 116; sometimes for the subs and sometimes for the friendly greeting! Sam & Nita really are the best ever. Go check them out!

Since moving my business to Page Rd… it’s been a great experience to grab lunch at the SubWay #40733 on T.W. Alexander! The husband and wife team are always cheerful and friendly; the store is always clean and welcoming. I can say that I’ve been extremely impressed and pleased with the quality and professionalism that this location provides.

I order from here pretty often, usually online but sometimes in person.
A lot of the prior reviews are on point.
Summary:
Appears to be managed by a foreign couple, usually working, definitely NOT from a culture that promotes a friendly outgoing demeanor.
He is usually pacing around seemingly aggressive. She is typically behind the counter but doesn't hear well or understand English very well, short fuse if you ask questions. Pro tip - just say okay and limit any inquires if possible.
Food has always been mid, all Subways skimp on most meats nowadays so par for the course.
If you can hit a different store that's my call. Or order online to limit your interaction with the power couple.

2025 PC note: I don't judge where people come from, but I do judge on the character you present in public to others (especially in the quick food service industry). I'd suggest making sure you are able to be at least mildly pleasant and know how to let the public use a restroom before opening a Subway in America.
