If I could give a negative rating I would. I’ve seen cleaner animal shelters. My MIL was here for a short period of time for which she was never cleaned, her linens were always dirty and the food was subpar. It’s hard to blame the staff because they did what they could however they are severely short staffed which meant a lot of basic assistance wasn’t available. The woman who runs the facility is hardly ever on site and is only concerned about the money. The mandatory community fee ($2500) is absurd and no one can explain what this fee covers.
The floor tiles are old, stained, and smelly. The place always reeks of urine and is poorly lit. The bathrooms are not cleaned thoroughly and appear to be unsanitary. This is NOT an assisted facility.. it’s simply a poor version of adult babysitting at the very minimum. I would not recommend anyone place their loved ones here. The picture they give you is not a true depiction so don’t be fooled.

LASTLY, this facility lost their accreditation therefore Medicaid will not pay for their services!! Our senior community deserves better treatment!!

This is the best places ever!! My mom love it there, the owner is great and go over and beyond to make her residents happy. She is great. She will not let unruly residents make it bad for the rest. She runs a tight and safe place for all. For the price you can’t beat it, other places that are more expensive have nothing on this place.

I do not have any body that stays here but today me and my husband were out in the yard when this older woman walks up into our yard, on main st(hwy73) we could tell right away that she was lost. When we asked her where she was from and she said Marshall and asked if we could take her home , I knew then she was from an assisted living place close by I found this one and realized it was .4 miles away so we took her over there. Apond arrively the front door was unlocked and so I walked rite in,there was no one at the front desk I had to walk around looking for someone the woman was in the kitchen and when I asked her if they were missing anyone, by this name L@*#a, they laughed and said how did she get out ? Well they weren't paying attention because she'd been at my home for about 35 mins plus... My heart breaks at knowing this could of been really bad, they need to do a report on this place bc what if it was your mom?

I would recommend the Gilead to anyone that ask me about their services. They are very courteous and handle themselves and their clients very well. I've enjoyed their services and their customer services are very helpful and good

This place is wonderful! My Dad is so happy living here. It’s a beautiful place and feels like a community. The owner has a heart for the residents and gives her very best to help them all enjoy their lives. All the employees are warm and friendly and kind to everyone. Finding this place is a Godsend for our family! My Dad is so well cared for and treated like he’s part of a family. We are so grateful and appreciative!!

My name is Pam and I'm a resident. I've been here since October 7th it's been rough at times I don't count of the virus and that's being in lockdown I made it through and made a lot of good friends is my new family and I love them all I'm thankful did I have found a new home. We are no longer on lockdown and I'm happy about that this is a great place to bring your family member.

My sister lives here and loves it. The staff are very friendly and meet the expectations that I want my family member to have. The owner Mrs. Willis is an amazing woman to do everything that needs to be done. They all go above and beyond to meet the needs of the clientele they have. Kudos for a GREAT place for my sister to live.
