My best friend Zach and I came to Charlotte, NC to not only ROCK out at one of our childhood 90's favorites, Limp Biskuit but, we also had an opportunity to spend time with 2 of my younger cousins in the area..

We all got up from our late night stuper, and me ( the out-of-towner) suggested a great local diner by the name of Lowesville Cafe. It was that or Pop's Country Skillet!?!

I have ate here since George started the place. Very satisfying until the new owners started using bowls to measure out food. Me,just an ole timer,straight from the pot to the plate. Darn good food!!!! Just not enough sometimes.

We tried this place at lunchtime on a weekday, and it was packed! They have an extensive menu. We ordered breakfast, the food was good! When you stop in, make sure you get the biscuits and gravy. It was fantastic! The prices are very reasonable. The staff and locals are incredibly friendly!

Parking: It's a gravel parking lot, park anywhere.

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is kid friendly, loud, and lively.
