I ordered lasagna from here once and LOVED IT! Problem is, is that if you're looking for authentic Italian, this is not the place. I took my 100% Sicilian dad here, and I once again ordered the lasagna (was not disappointed), but I saw his plate of chicken parm and pasta and knew it was bad news. The sauce was a bright red instead of dark. (Dark means it was simmered longer and I think develops more concentrated flavor. ) He was not happy, and I tasted it and thought it was...

Everything here is made from scratch. Even the Ranch Dressing. Everything tasted wonderful.

It was a little busier than I would like (parade of lanterns event), which led to a little bit more stress (I could see the staff struggling, but communicating well). Even then, the found came out much faster than I expected, and the staff made our visit and experience worth many more visits.

I had the Baked Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meat balls....

One of my FAVORITE spots in Charlotte. I love going somewhere that feels like it's "my spot". Ive been going for years. Great food, great service. Simple, warm atmosphere.
