Absolutely one of the best meals I've had in a long time!! Great steaks, sides, and drinks!! Worth every penny and the hour drive(one way)!! Will definitely be back and soon!!

We love the servers and the chef. They’re very friendly! Food is delicious and fresh. We eat here at least once per month and really love the corned beef hash.

Food was fantastic and so was the service! Went out with a party of 11 and it was so smooth! First pic is the aged Ribeye and second is the Prime Rib. Both tasted wonderful and cooked to perfection. Husband had two beers and they were poured beautifully! Desserts were outstanding!

Last night, our family gathered for two birthdays. We all agreed to go to 73 & Main Mount Pleasant. We had reservations for five people at 5 o’clock. In the past, we’ve always had excellent meals, and the atmosphere is always good. Unfortunately. Last night was an exception. The server Anthony was clearly overwhelmed as there were more patrons than there were servers. We ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers which were good except for my Mom‘s white Russian, which was really mostly milk. When the main course came out, my sister and I both Ordered meat loaf, which was supposed to have a glaze on top, which wasn’t Present, instead, there was barbecue sauce on top. I ordered the broccolini instead Was served cold broccoli. My brothers steak was supposed to be medium and was served to him more than well done. At that point I was finished with the meal, however my family decided to order dessert. They all ordered the bread pudding that was served cold. I spoke to the hostess and asked her plainly whether or not they were having staffing problems that evening, and she didn’t exactly say yes but implied that they were having some issues. She was very polite, and I made sure that I spoke to her Candidly not to disturbed the other customers. They offered us four new desserts to take with us to go, which we did. I was very disappointed there aren’t very many restaurants that are close by and usually 73 & Main In Mount Pleasant, and the local room and Locust are our go to places. Last night we made the wrong decision and I’m not entirely sure we’ll be going back Anytime soon. I did pay the entire bill and left a adequate tip as I could see. It was clearly not the servers problem. It was just a management staffing issue. Below is a picture of my plate. Again, I was very disappointed and so was the rest of my family.

73 & Main has never disappointed. Prime rib is on point and the bread pudding is funeral worthy.

We really really wanted to like this place, as it’s the only option for a nicer date night in mount pleasant. We have tried it 2 times in the past week and both times left extremely disappointed. The first time we were both craving pasta and ordered the “vodka pasta”. What a joke. There was almost no sauce on it and the sauce that was there was like a flavorless watery marina. We asked for the manager and she came out and apologized and said that wasn’t the standard they hold themselves to and comped our meal. I will say the Mac and cheese was amazing though when we took it home and heated it up and ate it. The baked Brie appetizer was fantastic as well.
Tonight we just tried it again, hoping that the first time was just an off day for them. The host, Courtney was so nice and made us feel very welcomed. That was the best part of the night. We got the baked Brie again, which wasn’t as warm as the first time, but still okay. Then I ordered the spicy pb&j burger and it was pretty good. My boyfriend had the nerve the order the vodka pasta again… surprise surprise: it was terrible. Completely flavorless. And we both got the Mac and cheese because of how amazing it was last weekend, but instead of the creamy flavorful white cheesy sauce we had the first time, it was a cold, flavorless, chunky orange sauce that honestly made me sick. The service was absolutely terrible from our waitress, I had to go find her after like 15 minutes just to refill our drinks and get us some bread to finish the Brie. We really aren’t that hard to make happy but 73 & main just isn’t up to par at all. They seem to focus all their attention on larger groups instead of giving everyone the same level of attention. We will NOT be back. Ever. Unfortunate.

What a big disappointment. Had reservation for 5 to celebrate my birthday January 1. It was New Year’s Eve so mildly busy. No wait for the table. However, it took over 15 minutes for our cocktails to arrive. We were told it was due to the smoker used to make the “cell block” drinks was not working. I ordered RARE prime rib. Meals came and my prime rib was medium to medium well. I was told that was all they had. Why not tell me upfront there was no rare prime rib? Did they really expect me no to notice? I don't eat my meat medium well. Manager replace it with a filet cooked rare which didn't arrive until after the rest of my party finished. Final disappointment was dessert. Ordered Cream Bruillee. It came with the sugar on top BURNT and bitter. I know the sugar is torched but burnt and bitter is not an option.
I have spent 3 birthdays and a variety of other celebrations at 73&Main but will think long and hard before returning. This was a terrible experience

NEVER again! We recently ate here to celebrate my brother in laws 61st birthday, left feeling like we had been robbed! 3 drinks and 2 meals $220 with their ADDED tip $178 went to $220! $42 for A TIP
LET ME REITERATE THE FACT THAT the meal was average, WE HAD TO WAIT OVER AN HOUR for the meal with most empty glasses! Let me also add the fact that I called, left my number before leaving this review giving the restaurant a chance to respond with NO RETURN call! VERY DISSATISFIED,sad that I can no longer in good conscience recommend this place to anyone! Very underhanded way of doing business!

My wife and I had been looking forward to eating at 73 & Main for a long time and were looking for a reason to go out of our way to grab a meal here. Celebrating a birthday was reason enough, so we made reservations and once we were seated, we ordered the 1/2 brie cheese wheel with jelly, honey drizzle and crackers as an appetizer. My wife ordered the sesame tuna with green beans and I ordered the prime ribe rib with the bacon mac and cheese.
After watching people who were seated after us get their salads and entrees, I'm happy to report that after 30 minutes our brie finally arrived to the table. We had to remind the waitress that it also came with jelly. We should not have waited so long for something so basic, sorry.
My wife's tuna, ordered medium rare, was overcooked, next to no sauce and what sauce was on there was in the crispy wontons and not the tuna.
My prime rib was tender and flavorful. My bacon mac and cheese had no flavor and tasted like it was made from a box the day before, refrigerated, then reheated. Just disappointing.
My wife and I had high hopes for the 73 & Main experience as we've heard nothing but good things about it. Unfortunately, after a disappointing dinner, we will not be back.
The quality of food does not match price point.

I've only visited here for large catering events. They are always well organized and offer a great selection of meals. We normally do a buffet style for the large group. I would recommend using this place if you need to have a gathering with food and drinks!

Their specials are my favorite. I didn't love their seafood, but there are plenty of other options plus the relaxed atmosphere and good service that I love, not to mention the carrot cake!

Phenomenal drinks. Smoked Old Fashioned is unrivaled. Food is wonderful and the staff is just about perfect. Not expensive. Worth a drive too. Anyone in the Charlotte area should check this place out. They won't be disappointed.
