Most of the time it is great. Maybe tonight was an off night, food seemed thrown together. Beans were cold and salty, gravy on hamburger steak was cool, not hot or warm. Sadly the young lady who was our waitress seemed as if she hated her job, never refilled drinks, always seemed as if the customers were a bother. Wish I had gotten Kat's area as she is totally amazing.. Maybe next it will better.
Seated ourselves..waited to be helped..had to ask for silverware. Offered substitutions with a extra cost on menu but wouldn't do it once we got to order. Offeredd cornbeef hash but didn't have. Said they just haven't removed it yet. I give the place 2 out of 10!
This is a great little country restaurant with lots of food choices. From seafood, to country classics, to burgers and sandwiches, etc. Every day they offer specials. The food is always good and served with an oversized helping of Southern Hospitality! It's a hidden gem in little old Mt Pleasant.
Parking: The lot in front of the building is not huge. But if you drive down the alley beside the building there is more space out back.
