A J Gators is a restaurant known for its great atmosphere and friendly staff, making it a family-oriented sports bar with a welcoming vibe. The food, including the Gator Burger and Crispy Chicken Sandwich, is surprisingly good, and the burgers are highly praised by many guests. The Shrimp Alfredo is delicious, although some wish it had more seasoning. However, the filet mignon tips wrap is not recommended as it tends to be tough and chewy.
This restaurant is a top spot in Currituck for a hot meal and cold beer, with a clean environment that showcases professionalism. Manager Shelly and her trusted team of bartenders, including Katie and Diana, excel at providing impressive service, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for. The restaurant features many TVs for sports fans and offers a kid-friendly atmosphere, including a $5 kids' menu on Saturdays and a changing table in the women's room.
With a nice selection of appetizers like mozzarella sticks and decent burgers, A J Gators remains a favorite hometown bar for many. The value here is incredible, with quick, fresh, and reliable food service even on busy nights. A J Gators is more than just a sports bar; it is a community hub where everyone feels welcome.
