Great food, home-like atmosphere. I don't think I've ever tasted food as home cooked and delicious in a very long time. I had the fried chicken and bbq combo which i picked fried okra and mashed potatoes and gravy for the sides. Even though the waiter accidently gave me green beans for a side they were quick to bring me out the mashed potatoes instead. Everything tasted so good. Also enjoyed the sweet tea. My husband had the catfish which was gone fast, it was so good, the coating was amazing. I really liked my fried okra. Great vibe! I'm glad they offer a lot of other options besides just bbq. Keep up the good work and spread the good word!

It's been a few years since I've been here for the last time. Breakfast buffet was great.. this time seemed like the biscuits Frozen ones from Sam's club gravy was cold. The grits are like soup. The scrambled eggs or loaded with water and bacon is extremely chewy..

Southland catered a last minute celebration of life over Columbus Day weekend for me. Working with Travis was a delight. He was friendly, easy to communicate with and spot on with his recommendations. The food was amazing. I can not tell you how many guest asked where the food came from. Everything from the rolls to the brisket and in between was perfect. Even the delivery girl was wonderful. Thank you all for making such a hard day delicious.

Had to wait awhile to get seated, but the food came out quick. Atmosphere is cozy and old-fashioned in the good way. Love those chicken and dumplings!

Always fun stopping here. We. Get my dad's cigarettes and usually we get a BBQ sandwich and some ice cream. There are lots of souvenirs and a fudge stand that is awesome.

Fried chicken was very very good! Some of the best I've ever had. And the ranch dressing was phenomenal!
