Entered, waited 5 min. One person showed with finger where to sit. We sat. Waited 10 min. Nothing. We just left.

This is my Sunday Lunch standard. They have a regular lunch special menu, always the same thing, and always somewhat less expensive than the same meal at other times. I Always get the porkchop, grilled, not fried. Just my thing.

It's a small town restaurant, solid choices and in my experience consistent quality.

The service was incredible, and the waitress made it a pleasant experience. The hush puppies and the gumbo were quite good, but my tuna bites were overcooked.

So tonight we visited John’s Seafood and Steak. First the service was non existent. We sat down and it took an over a hour for the food to get there. Some of the food was ok but the steamed shrimp had sat too long and it was almost impossible to peel. The stuffed flounder was undercooked. I ended up getting up to get more sweet tea since our waitress apparently was busy doing something else and only came around after I was seen getting more tea.It used to be a great place to eat but the last two trips have been mediocre at best.

This dinner was the best the steak and clam straps were awesome. Had salad bar and baked potato. Entire meal was delicious. I will go again. And the staff was very good and attentive to our needs.

I was so excited to take my mom here for the first time for her 75th birthday. My son and family and cousins met us there. What a disappointment this restaurant is as far as food and service! We waited for well over an hour for our food. Took the waitress at least 30 mins to take our order. The restaurant was near empty. This is unacceptable. Now to the food. My mom ordered stuffed flounder. It came out covered in sauce and either no fish or very little fish. My cousins ordered steak and their steaks were not cooked how they liked. My cousins child ordered a hamburger which was very red in the middle. Spent over 100.00 for nothing but disappointment. I will never come back here again. It has gone down hill. Years ago it was never like this. Slow waitress , poorly cooked food.

Brought out shrimp cocktail without devaining. Server said that's how they serve it and charged me for it even though I sent it back. Platter was soggy and they hate seasoning. $80.00 for two people when it wasn't worth 30. Never going
