I was planning on meeting an old friend in this neck of the woods, he suggested a few restaurants. I decided on Tavern 125 based on other reviewers and the it's website. I can really appreciate an establishment like Tavern 125. I live in Va Beach. It is just so special to park on the curb in the heart of town and walk into a cozy place like this. Our server was extremely accommodating and friendly. I just ordered my favorite, a cheese burger/bacon and fries. My friend had a shrimp platter with onion rings. There was nothing to complain about. We were about the first guest there at noon. Other guest soon entered. They do have an patio for dining. I don't know when I'll get back that way but I would definitely go back to Tavern 125.

I went here with some friends and got the French Dip sandwich. It was good but I was surprised when I got it on a hamburger bun. The staff was friendly and intensive. I will go back even though I am 67 miles away. I was there in July 2024

Are there with some work friends and husband got some tea and it have some stuff in the tea and it was nasty and they will not do anything about it and just gave them some tea

My husband and myself have been twice now. The first time was good. Yesterdays visit 7/16/2024 My mashed potatoes were instant, and my husbands steak was the cheapest quality thin steak for 30 something dollars hes ever had. Our waitress was phenomenal.
I ordered a hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and a side of pasta salad. The pasta salad was amazing. The hamburger steak was pretty good. It tastes different from the last time. Not bad but it was better the last time. I got my food in a timely manner and the price of my dinner was affordable.

Sweet potato fries were not cooked fresh they were cold and limp even though I had to wait for my food past the time she said it would be ready (which wasnt long) I don't know why y'all are serving crab dip with STALE tortilla chips but it doesn't work. At least the crab dip tasted good. That was the only thing that was somewhat enjoyable. Oysters tasted horrible. I asked for lemons three times and still had to go back in and get them. Yikes. This is really sad for the amount I just paid for my food. Even my sandwich was cold so what was the wait for everything obviously sat. What I can't figure out is how anything would have been cold and stale with the short wait time.
