Food was pricy but not pricy quality. It was hot in restaurant. Staff said they had to leave it at 76. 76? Crabcakes were subpar. Was told they were made there. Staff is super nice and attentive.
I was planning on meeting an old friend in this neck of the woods, he suggested a few restaurants. I decided on Tavern 125 based on other reviewers and the it's website.
I can really appreciate an establishment like Tavern 125. I live in Va Beach. It is just so special to park on the curb in the heart of town and walk into a cozy place like this. Our server was extremely accommodating and friendly. I just ordered my favorite, a cheese burger/bacon and fries....

I went here with some friends and got the French Dip sandwich. It was good but I was surprised when I got it on a hamburger bun. The staff was friendly and intensive. I will go back even though I am 67 miles away. I was there in July 2024
