Came across Ms. Kaye's by happy accident in a Google search with friends; we had just packed up camp at Roan Mtn. State Park on a cool rainy Sunday morning. We entered a peaceful banquet with so many options that nourished body and soul. Very kind and authentic folks who do good in their community (said a neighbor sitting nearby also enjoying his breakfast--well they live 4+ hours away but volunteered to rebuild after Helene so good neighbors indeed). My sisters and I were having a day out yesterday and stopped at Kaye's for a late lunch. What a treat!! First the service was spectacular! Our server was friendly and made us feel welcome. Then the food had variety, was freshly made, and delicious! There was fresh butter on the table, quality salt AND even home cut potatoes ...and they didn't rush us even though it was past closing time. Can't wait to go again.
