Have I really never reviewed this restaurant before? Shame on me! It's definitely the go-to for a great meal in Newland. The food here is always delicious. I even try new things because I know it's going to be good. All of the staff from top to bottom are always sweet and helpful. Service is always quick. Don't get me started on the salsa bar. So many flavors from cool and creamy to hot and delicious. Portions are very generous. My favorite dishes here are the pollo loco and grilled salmon salad. And did I mention their fabulous salsa bar?!

Tried something new tonight. Quesabirrias. It's kind of hidden at the bottom of the tacos. Stewed beef, like ropa vieja. Cooked in a super flavorful chili broth. Not very hot. Corn tacos are stuffed with meat & Oaxaca cheese. Then grilled to crisp them up. Served with a cup of broth to dip them in. My new fav. Shared 1, ate 1, 1 to go home. Put some of the broth over the rice. Xtra yum.

This place is the real deal. Very authentic food...and I would know. Also, salsas are all not kidding around. I pride myself on spicy food, and none of them disappoint. In fact be careful and don't expect run of the mill bland seasoning. Excellent and I always stop here when I can.
