Surprisingly good pizza. Tasty cheese sticks and the Mexican chicken hero was unique and pretty good. Given the location in the middle of nowhere it's surprisingly good.

Couple of out-of-towners looking for some good pizza and this hit the spot. We walked in mid-afternoon on a Tuesday and ordered a large thin crust pizza and bacon cheese sticks. We owned a pizza place for a while so I feel like we have pretty good perspective. I'm a thin-crust lover and it didn't disappoint. Crust was nice and crisp the whole way through. I'm not sure if they make the thin crust themselves or if they purchase it prepared, as it had a cracker-y texture, but I liked it regardless. Would totally order again.The cheese sticks were unreal. Loads of cheese and toppings. REAL crispy bacon. The garlic butter/parm spread they brush over the finished bread is so good.Also - special note - easily one of the best pizza sauces I've ever had. Slightly sweet and acidic with lots of herbs...totally delish. I'm going to try to recreate at home!The blonde lady working the counter was very sweet and brought our food out to us in no time.

I go there very often get there cheese sticks which are always good sometime got to much cheese but is still very good and there thin crust pizza is so good the price for it all is hard to beat you go to like pizza and get cheese sticks for like 12$ when I can go to riverwalk and get them for 7$

It was an absolutely amazing experience. The pizza is top notch. Tons of toppings, I don't know what Karen got but mine had more than enough. The young ladies that work in the kitchen were extremely pleasant to deal with. And the owner is the nicest of them all. I'll definitely be bringing my family back repeatedly. Thank you River Walk pizza!

TRASH! If you ENJOY and KNOW good pizza please avoid this place at all costs. We were on baecation and wanted a nice night in once we got to our location. The website said they delivered but once we called they said the website was incorrect and they don't. 1st red flag. We ordered a large cheese pie half beef and a Philly cheese steak sub. The box was super lite when I got it and I almost cried when saw it. The toppings were scant at best. I could see the crust in every slice. I've had better pizza in elementary school! (You remember the rectangle slices ?) after seeing the pizza I clutched the sub and could tell it was lacking too. It was very dry with a very little amount of mayo, peppers and onions. The whole experience was just a drag on the evening. AVOID

My wife ordered a pizza to be picked up on her way home from work. Beef, onion, tomato, and black olives on a thin crust. $16!! I honestly can’t believe the number of positive reviews for this pizza joint. This was worse than the worse frozen pizza we have ever had from the freezer section at the grocery store. The toppings were practically non existent, very little sauce, and the taste was that of the cardboard box it was packaged in. I suppose when you are the only game in the town of Newland, people’s expectations may justify a sub par pizza, but my wife and I are used to having great pizza from the pizza restaurants in Knoxville, TN. I am only giving this pizza joint 1 star because I can’t give it a zero. Google won’t allow it. I seriously am sorry that the people of Newland only have this place to call their local pizza place. And by the way, I don’t know where the pictures of River Walk Pizza that have been used in the positive reviews came from, but it sure isn’t the product they are serving now. Never again.
