We used 6th and Main as the venue and catering for a bridal shower recently. Heather was wonderful to work with. She made the meal planning, set up and tear down effortless. The venue was very charming. The food was delicious! Received several compliments from the guests in attendance about how wonderful it was. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious food and service! Due to schedule conflicts, we had to have my son's wedding rehearsal "dinner" during 6th and Main's Mother's Day brunch. I was a little apprehensive about that, but it turned out perfect! We sat in a lovely private room upstairs. There was a large variety of options on the brunch menu, and everyone was happy with their meal- from the steak to the salmon to the eggs benedict. The lobster bisque was a huge hit and the bread pudding was one of the best I have ever had. I just wish I lived closer so I could eat there more often.

Even though I have lived out of state for more than 10 years, I am a native of Wilkes. 6th & Main has always been the classiest place in town for fine dining and atmosphere.So when my daughter’s boyfriend reached out for help with proposing to my daughter on Valentines Day, I immediately knew this would be the perfect location to pop the big question! It was semi last minute planning so I contacted the restaurant to see if they could squeeze them in for Valentine’s Day dinner and the proposal! Heather, the owner got back with me immediately and helped me plan out every detail. She offered to have them come in an hour before the restaurant opened so they could be alone in their very special moment! We also had flowers delivered to the restaurant beforehand and Heather once again, stepped up to make sure they were delivered on time and brought out to my daughter at just the right time.?Even though I couldn’t be there, Heather kept me in the loop in real time which meant the world to me! She sent me pictures and even helped my (very nervous) future son in law, pull off the big surprise! My daughter called afterwards to tell me she was of course engaged and how beautifully everything had gone! (Mission accomplished!) She also couldn’t believe how accommodating and kind Heather had been to them. Sadly, this kind of service and people are becoming harder to come by so I share with others when I find wonderful people and services. Their meal + service were excellent! 10 out of 10 across the board! Thank you Heather and the 6th & Main staff for helping us pull off a very special event for our daughter and son in law to be.
6th and main will forever hold a special place in my heart. The food is out of this world!! Not too pricey either. Heather was our waitress and she was amazing!! Everything was a 10/10. The food was good, service was slow and disorganized, they went to lunch when I wanted to pay and the other waiter would not take our money. We had a large group of about 20, they stuck us upstairs, and the room itself is terrifying, the floor is bowed and bouncy. Definitely not up to any sort of

Favorite place in the area by a mile. The filet is fantastic. Love the portabella fries. Staff is awesome. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. Can't wait to come back!
Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating and welcoming of my 2.5 year old daughter. Granted, she was very well behaved. Best for slower evenings instead of weekend dinner dishes for kids.
