best mexican food in wilkes! got steak tacos and horchata and it was soo good, and the ice cream is great. will be back

The food is great just that every time I call, I have to call up to 3 times for someone to answer. And they sometimes get my order wrong and add pecan even tho I’ve asked not to put pecan, I have a brother with nut allergies. I’ve had to share my food with him due to pecan being on his food.

The Carne Asada tacos were very authentic and reminded me of my time in Mexico and Southern California! Definitely go here!

So you’ve seen it, you’re driving home and you see a small shack that claims to have food. At first you probably assume it’s another diner. It’s close to home so I stopped. Gravel drive made me regret that choice, but I pushed on. I go inside, and there he is. THE ONLY GUY RUNNING IT, ONE DUDE. I get the sandwich, it’s 9$. It’s huge, like no side no drink needed huge. I get an horchata, it was delicious, the sandwich (pork) is scrumptious, honestly it’s so big that I could have split it with my husband. I got the ice cream, and it was also great. This is a staple restaurant, I will eat here again, and I reccomend you do too.
