Busy place. Parking was tough but we managed after a few minutes. Seated immediately.

Our server was outstanding and our food came out super quick. Awesome. Home run here.

I got the Smokehouse Platter (18.99). This comes with all the meats of pulled BBQ, sliced tenderloin, smoked chicken, and 5 ribs. I did the okra for a 1.99 upcharge. The puppies came with the meal. Breakdown:

Pulled BBQ: Moist and tender. The vinegar sauce was needed and a good addition.

Sliced tenderloins: Holy heaven on earth, Batman! Tender. Moist. Awesome flavor with the sauce. By far the best part of the plate. The slightly crunchy edges do it for me!

Chicken: Moist but needed something else for flavor. Bland perhaps. The meat itself was a good cut and cooked perfectly.

Ribs: Torn on these. Very lean and fell off the bone nicely. This part was excellent. Somewhat bland and needed some more sauce for my liking. But cooked perfectly. I did the vinegar sauce on the table to give it more flavor. Almost! This could potentially be a game changer with some more sauce.

Okra: 1.99 upcharge but a great version.

Puppies: Freaking awesome. I wanted more of these. The best version I can remember having.

Their ice cream made Our State Magazine at one point. I did a Red Velvet milkshake and this was heaven. Yes yes yes. Well priced at 3.99 and this was a great value for how fantastic it was. Simply outstanding. Get the whipped cream for added consistency. You can mix ice cream flavors to make a concoction but it would take parting the Red Sea for me to not get this. Wow!

I mentioned the quick turnaround for food and friendly service. Thought the upcharge of 1.99 for one side was a tad too much. Mostly good but potentially great. Worth a look!

Called in food and was told 15 min. Showed up after 20 min paid for food. After sitting for another 5 I asked a waitress who was walking thru how much longer. She goes and ask the front cashiers if they have check on my order and was told no. She went to the back and got my order. They need new front people. This is the third time since they have reopened. The 2 front cashiers showed no regard for their customers

Food and menu are same as it used to be. The only negative I have to say is the atmosphere Is very hectic unlike it used to be. Food was great and service was quick.

Be aware that you have to pass by the homemade ice cream to get into the restaurant. The aroma tempts you to skip a meal and just have ? dessert.
It's a good-sized menu with wonderful choices. Check out the salad bar. It small but it's big on taste. More prepared options than just a typical house salad. My favorite is pulled pork barbecue. Portions are good size. Prices are reasonable. We've had small group of four and also used space for larger groups too.
Did I mention ice cream ??

Amazing food and service. Highly Recommend!!

The food is alright, I wouldn't say spectacular by any means. But the ice cream really lives up to the hype - and does certainly finish off the meal well.

Really hate to give you guys a low rating, but my husband and I get takeout from you all every single Saturday, tonight (once again) I ordered the grilled buffalo chicken bites, I get home and they are fried. I wasn’t going to review you poorly, but this has now happened twice and has ruined my Saturday night dinner each time. I do not order them fried, I specifically say “grilled buffalo chicken bites dinner”, if it had only happened once I would have let it slide, but happened again tonight and once again ruined my dinner once i got home and seen they were fried. Check your food before you leave, because there’s a good chance your order is wrong. We hate to negatively review local restaurants as we support local, but this is happening far too often.

NEW OWNERS MADE IT 100% BETTER! The food was excellent! Service was fast and friendly. Prices are very fair. The newly remodeled inside was clean and bright. So much better now with the new owners and menu. I had the bacon smash burger, dad had the brisket plate. Both were fantastic. Will be back!

Got the family platter deal,carry out,it really only had enough to for my husband we didn't get all the meats OR SIDES FOR TWO we love this place but lord 30.00 for really one person.but plz give folks all the food they ordered. We decided tonight after this (and it was first time doing call in )we would do separate orders and check before we left when picking up. THAT BEING SAID WE STILL LOVE THIS PLACE.JUST A FIRST TIME NOT GETTING WHAT WE PAID FOR..

Easily some of the best brisket I had in a very long time! Food came out quick and hot, and very affordable! Don’t even get me started with the homemade ice cream! Recommend.

Burgers was very thin and waaay over cooked. I sent them back once. They was black. Icecream was great
