Overall good place to go for bar food and experience. Wings were very good and crispy. I really enjoyed the sweet potatoe fries. The chips were ok. Chicken tenders were good. Service was good and they gave good notice of how long it would be for food to come out. The music was 1/10. So bad. The inside seemed very mismatched me. Half the room seemed nice the other half made me think I was eating in a prison. The gray beat up walls do not go with the nice bar. The outside is very nice. Great place for kids to run around and play corn hole. I would recommend for bar food.

Myself and my daughters friends came in yesterday around 12 and their was hardly anyone there. Waited about 15 mins for drinks ( one of the friends ordered tea so, waited till tea was made to bring any drinks out) we then waited 45 mins for food. I work in a restaurant the food we ordered and the amount of ppl inside should have been a 20 min cook time. One of the girls ordered chicken tenders and they were BURNED. We just boxed up paid left a tip and went about our day. It was disgusting and not worth what we paid.

Waited 45 minutes to get food. Wings came out cold, with main course, and burgers were way overcooked. .Fries were cold and not crispy. We had no napkins or silverware—had to go inside to request some. They were short-staffed, but people who came in after us got food before we did. Our waitress got us 1/2 off the cold wings, so there’s that. The tater tots were good.

Took half an hour to get drinks in and over an hour to get the food. It wasn’t bad, just took forever. Not worth the wait. The restaurant was abandoned too.

This is the 2nd time we have showed up and sat outside, in order to let the kids enjoy the play area. We place our order & wait… & wait over an hour, and our food never arrives… People showed up after us and received their food, a party of 10+ arrived inside and had all their plates, yet here we are, left waiting. Our waitress, & the manager, neither, proceeded to check on us. Until the service is corrected, we will NOT return. This is a huge let down, because we are such advocates for small business. We love the block, & we had just left the 4pm showing at Liberty, watching “Minecraft”… But the last 2 visits to the Wombat have been disastrous, please fix this!!!!

I've been here a few times when passing through. Very cool little dive. Great burgers and good drink selection. Nice outdoor patio with room for the kids to run. The wait staff is always super friendly and prompt. It's also very clean and so is the restrooms. And the prices aren't too bad considering the portions. Definitely A+++

Had a nice lunch while I'm the area as part of my quest to visit all 100 NC counties. My server was great, and I enjoyed my shrimp taco and onion rings. The onion rings could be a little crispier, but that's a personal preference.
I ate inside but there is a lot of outside area to hang out in. If it had traveled well, I would have loved to get a pavlova to try, but no fridge in my car 🤣
Plenty of public parking nearby and nice shops to browse.
