Food was delicious! I got the katsu chicken cutlet. It was delicious and the breading was just crunchy enough. Their spring rolls were delicious and the sauce they came didnt taste store bought. Mybparents had the steak hibachi and said it was really good as well. Planning to come back to try their mochi ice cream.

My family stopped in here for some sushi when I was passing through Norwood. All of our food was above average, and the Lantern Roll was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had (compared to Washington DC and Miami restaurants).

Love the food. Service overall was great. Server did a great job. Atmosphere was good, but there was a problem with our reservation. We had a reservation for 7 pm for 12 people for a birthday celebration for my wife abd granddaughter. Unfortunately we were nat able to be seated inside and ordinarily that would not be a big deal. Unfortunately it was slightly windy and very cool. Several of our party got cold. I am not sure why our table was unavailable at 7 pm which was disappointing. To the restaurants favor is that they sent out two appetizers for us to eat free of charge.

This was my first time going here. Parking is behind the building- which took me a bit to figure out - I got take out - but the restaurant area looked pleasant, the server who assisted me was nice, all of my food was as good as I hoped it would be. They didn’t put any soy sauce packets in, and my sushi was still good without it! That is how good it was. It’ll definitely be somewhere I go again - one of the closer sushi place to me.

Started to call this a hidden gem but those who live in the area know The Lantern. Great food with some awesome specialty sushi rolls. Their hibachi is also really good. During this recent visit, we had a Lantern Roll and Firecracker rolls. Awesome; especially if you like al little heat. Music can be a little loud at times but on this visit, it was great so we could easily carry on a conversation. Our server, Sarah, did a great job of taking care of us.
