Came here for the arcade because I'm obsessed with pinball machines. They had 3 great pinball machines but 1 was missing a flipper button. Cool arcade but they need more games. Can't comment on the food because I didn't eat here but it looked good.

My kids never complain and they both said the cheeseburgers were so greasy and for the price I paid we will definitely never go here again! 2 drinks 2 burgers and 2 fries $45

We usually go for the arcade, we've been coming here for years! ALL of the arcade games are worn down and don't work. A button missing on fuseball and so many out of order. The puck for air hockey was missing and I went to the front to ask about it and the lady said she has nothing to do with the arcade, only if I want pizza or ice cream to come to the front. It SAYS it closes at 10, but at 8:30 that same lady came and said after our game that she was going to shut off the games because they were closing, just flat out kicked us out. Don't go!

Place has really gone downhill and it’s sad to see. I practically grew up in this place, only to come back for the first time in 3 years and be completely let down. I still can’t believe it. So many of the machines didn’t work and the staff was the maybe the rudest I’ve ever seen. I’m either getting old in a hurry or this place has gone downhill fast

The Breakers arcade and grill has been a staple in Ocean Isle Beach for many years. It’s really sad to see the bad reviews about the arcade on its last summer. Each day the owner of the games cleans out the jams, and works on the games so that they can be played. Unfortunately these games are abused by some visitors that put two quarters in at once, stick things in the change accepter other than quarters. There are also signs on the games that reads “Play at your own risk” “No refunds will be given”. If you are worried about losing a quarter or two, don’t play. I also see comments about prizes, you are not playing to win a prize, you are playing for enjoyment and fun. No different than playing the lottery, you know you probably aren’t going to win but you play anyway. Do you ask for money back? No.
So please just play what works and enjoy the game or don’t play at all.

I looked at the most recent reviews and am disappointed to see the arcade games are eating the money. I was planning to visit when I go down this year. Last summer they worked wonderfully. I took 2 kids for the afternoon. My review is about the pizza. The taste was delicious BUT I had to take off all of the cheese so that the kids could eat it. The cheese was so thick that we absolutely could not get it chewed good and I nearly choked. The workers were a bit rude as well.

Wow wow wow ?‍♂️??‍♂️ the man or woman, not sure the gender as it was not clear, freaked out cuz my 10 yr old asked for help cuz the ticket machine for the arcade was jammed and apparently the arcade is separate from restaurant but the guy/girl flipped out and was very rude to my son and made him cry. I asked my son whats wrong and he said the ladyman yelled at me.
I asked the ladyman what the reason was they he spoke to my kid like that and i told him he owes my kid an apology and he said “im pissed being told about arcade problems when i have nothing to do with the arcade so f u and idgaf if ur son is a crybaby now get the f out of my restaurant cuz im calling the cops”.
Pretty despicable to speak to a child so harshly and then to show zero remorse and tell the parent off and then to call the police smh! And we are locals!
NEVER WILL I EVER SPEND A DIME AT THAT PLACE AGAIN!

Went to the arcade. Most of the machines have a problem. I put money in 3 machines and they did not work. The one that worked and started the guns were broken. Don’t waste your time or money. All the machines say no refunds at all.

Arcade isn’t associated with the ice cream shop. A lot of machines were jammed with coins. Nobody would fix it the games so they can get played. 4 machines eat our quarters when it was brought to the attention to the ice cream workers that’s when I was informed that they are not associated with the arcade and that they deeply apologize for the inconvenience. Stay away from the arcade games.

The only thing I can say is $40 later and kids only got 2 small deflated balls. It’s not like they would have been out any money.

The ice cream is the best! A bit over priced but delicious

Went to Breakers with my fiancé to enjoy their arcade while on our beach vacation. Not only did all their machines eat our money, when we went to tell the lady working, het exact words were “I don’t know and I don’t care.” We couldn’t believe how rude she was. We will NEVER be back and don’t recommend anyone supporting this “business”.

Total biddy running register. Talked to you like you was a dog. Food wasn't that great but the customer service was worse. Lost money on a pool table guy said he was going to get the key never came back. Will never come back to this place again.
