The place where dreams and arcade games go to die. 40% of the machines didn't work, there were no signs to tell you so either. No soap in the bathroom, or lock or stalls. The person working the counter couldn't have been less enthusiastic about anything except telling us they were out of something or something didn't work. Save your time and money at the arcade. The pizza was edible but dare I say a little too cheesy. I normally don't post reviews but I felt I needed to share my experience before you take a kid there expecting something halfway decent. Guitar hero was excellent though

It's an oceanside pizza parlor and arcade, so it doesn't have great "atmosphere", but if you take your food out the back thru the arcade, you can eat it outside about 50 yards from the ocean. Their pizzas have more toppings than any pizza parlor I've ever eaten at, especially The Breakers' Special pizza. They also sell hand scooped ice cream, and are generous with their scoops. The people that own it and run it don't smile a lot, but the service is almost always excellent, so don't let that get in the way of a good experience. Only real negative is the parking. There's only 2 spots in front of the building, so you usually have to park across the street, which is free. DON'T park in the lot next to the bldg, as that's emergency access for EMTs. Parking at the OIB Pier parking lot MAY be OK, but check the signage as before 6pm there's probably a charge to park there. I recommend WALKING to Breakers if you can, so you get great food and good exercise.Kid-friendliness: No one goes in here expecting a fine dining experience, so kids of all ages, and noise levels, will probably be fine here. They do have a high chair.

Ordered a meat pizza, pepperoni, and breakers special. The family loved it. Lots of toppings, and very cheesy. You definitely get plenty for the price you pay. Service was awesome and they even called to tell me it was ready. Will be going back!Kid-friendliness: Arcade and ice cream for the kids. Cool spot!Parking: Parking in side lot. Plenty for pick up and dining in.

My family and I have been coming to OIB for over 20 years, multiple times a year. We always eat at Breakers a couple of times, every visit. We have had the Pizza, Ice Cream, Fries, and the Gyro. It has always been great!Edited to add that I tried the Philly Steak sub and it is incredibly good as well! Will be a go to meal in the future!

The pizza here is so good!! Although make sure when you ask for ranch tell her it's for the pizza and not the salad The owner was very concerned that we did not like the Greek dressing which is fabulous by the way!

Many games took money and then didn't work... and ticket redeeming machine was broke... kids were disappointed, as well as myself.

no games working, ticket machine took all tickets, the games that were working didn’t have ANY tickets, claw machines doesn’t even close when you try to grab something, coin machines stole coins, rude employees.

Have to be the most unprofessional business around. They close at 10pm but by 9:20pm they were no longer offering sandwiches for the night. We ordered a pizza. The man overheard and asked the woman taking our order what time it was. When she told him, he literally let out an aggravated sigh and walked away to make our pizza. It was a very uncomfortable interaction. Pizza was average, but way overpriced. Don't waste your time or money.

I make sure everytime we are in Ocean Isle to get a sandwich here. The best sandwiches. The lady that runs the place is always nice. The arcade in the back is an old school quarter pay and cheaper than the pier house. I look forward to it everytime. It's close to where we stay so it works out good for me.

Tricky pricing Beware. What they do not tell you ( did not tell us up front but we decided on cash last second) is that if you use a credit card you get charged a different menu price that is not shown (fee added) When we ask where the sign was indicating this they said they did not have one they just do this. Also, our cash price was $39.35 when adjusted to the menu prices for cash. We were told $40.92 but they would knock off the $.92 because we were paying cash. We asked for the receipt and the actual receipt was $39.35 so they overcharged us $.65 cents but they didn’t tell us. Again, very tricky. I understand it’s a small amount of money but it’s the principle for a business that is supposed to be professional.. just make sure and check your receipt. Other than that the food was good
