Service not good. 5 of the 6 served dinner, and the 6th finally served 15+ minutes after. Not told anything until tracked waitress down who then said not put in the one order w/o any real concern. Boxes for leftovers came before the last meal. And never got refill of pop requested. Food always good, and will only get take out if go back.

We always enjoy our meals here. Almost everything is made in house and always very fresh. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My favorite sandwich is the Blue Beast. The soups are always delicious as well. You can't go wrong at Causeway Gourmet.

Ordered sandwiches as well tomatoe soup and Chilli yesterday evening and one of them was called the BELT. Phenomenal. Food is always good. But the BELT was fantastic and I enjoyed every bite. I hope that sandwich stays on the menu. My NEW favorite and don't get me started on the Broccoli an Bowtie. Always delicious ? I highly recommend this place...

Really enjoyed the Thai beef salad. Fresh, plentiful ingredients with a tangy dressing. Also tasted the carrot cake and the bourbon pecan pie - so yummy!

Delicious food, as always. Delivery was missing one of the sandwiches but we were not charged so we just shared. Portions are large so truly not a problem. One of the few places that will deliver to the island in Sunset Beach. Always a standout!

They've got the quick southern hospitality that I enjoy and will continue coming here and telling all of my favorite people to do the same! Y'all are the best in the area! Keep it up!!

I called on Friday night to see how busy they were. One person only. She said it was slow, no problem. Well I waited 30min looking at empty tables when they called the couple after me to sit. They said it was my turn so I got a table. I ordered the salmon BLT. The salmon was done nearly perfectly. The bacon, no it was way old. Cole slaw was good. I ordered the coconut cake, they make it in house. I was not impressed. They have a lot of call in orders. I felt those took priority.
I'd give them zero if I could. They advertise delivery to the island after 5PM, but there's no way to order either online or by phone. No one ever answers the phone and the auto-attendant always ends in "leave a message."Update: I'm told they're closed. On Tuesday? Really? How would I know that? It's not on their website... or Google... or anywhere else I could find. The place is obviously not worth the effort, I won't give them another thought. I guess it's only for locals who are "in" on the secret operating hours and ordering instructions... probably requires a decoder ring too

Everytime we come down to Sunset Beach on vacation, we call Causeway Gourmet for a delivery to our beach home. Been doing this for forever! We ordered the salmon power salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, potato bacon soup, shrimp and grits, and the peanut butter pie. Everything was so yummy. We had leftovers for another night. This restaurant has reasonable prices and is always consistent with their food. We love it.

We stopped for lunch one day while visiting Ocean Isle. The place was pretty busy and we had a small wait for a table. Wait staff was very pleasant. Our sandwiches came out and they looked great and tasted even better! Also had some delicious potato salad. Lunch was so filling we were sad to pass on the many choices of cakes and cheesecakes...maybe next visit!

Great place for lunch. Reasonable prices and excellent food. Shrimp and grits was tasty and filling. Sweet street desserts are my hometown favorite. Can't wait to get back.
