I would have left a ZERO but couldn't! I just called...the woman who ALWAYS ANSWERS told me her name is JO...and when I told her about the VERY BAD MEAL WE GOT YESTERDAY...SHE LAUGHED!!! Is she kidding? Then told me to call back at 4pm and ask for her manager...after she told me she was THE OWNER...so I asked for the manager's name SHE LAUGHED AGAIN AND TOLD ME SHE DID NOT KNOW! Well I hope she laughs when she reads my reviews on here! There ya go Jo girl...!!!!

This is my sorry order of CHICKEN LO MIEN with VEGETABLES from CHINA KING IN OCEAN ISLE BEACH! I had just a FEW pieces of veggies and very FEW pieces of Chicken ON TOP! Yet was charged MORE and this was the SECOND ORDER because there was NO Veggies in the last order so my husband had to DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK TO GET THIS BOX OF "NOODLES"...So wasted MONEY, TIME, BEING HUNGRY AND GAS for this!! I told yall CHINA KING IN OIB I'D DO THIS...didn't care did ya?? Okies then...peeps here y'all go. This is what you'll get from CHINA KING IN OIB! "Noodles with a tiny bit of veggies and chicken" for ALOT OF MONEY!!!! I'm upset and this woman that answered the phone there when I called after the first order about NO VEGGIES reminded me that I had Carrots and cabbage in it..."well that's not Veggies hun" i told her! Where are my veggies? She said cabbage! I am very upset after he went up and they said "we fix it for you" yet THEY DID NOT!!!THIS IS SAD AND SO SO DECEITFUL...AND TO CHARGE MORE MONEY???? LAST TIME FOR ME!

I would recommend this take out spot, not the tastiest Chinese food I've ever had but not too bad either. I ordered General Tso's my favorite, the dish was tasty, but the chicken could have been a whole lot more tender. I was a NY Chef / Cook years ago for 14 years, so I consider myself a bit of of a fussy food critic .. friendly service, generous servings and very fair prices considering the inflation that we are in... PS unlike some of the other reviews No one was unfriendly or rude..
There's not a lot of choices for Chinese food around here. It's not the best, so that's why I gave it 4 stars. It did satisfy our desire for Chinese food. We got the chicken & broccoli, shrimp egg rolls, (which are hugh), wonton soup (didn't like the meat in the wonton)...next time I'll try egg drop soup. We placed an order inside and it wasn't ready in no time! The girl taking the order was nice. It's nothing fancy inside, but appeared to be clean.

Good was great. Service was good and it was definitely busy. Will definitely be going here since the bridge is closed and this is a lot closer for a quick bite to eat. We had the vegetable fried rice, crab Rangoon, and the general tso chicken.
