First of all, we were walking in and there was a sweet lady parking her car… she knocked over a plant pot while parking and my amazing partner picked it up for her. Then we walked in, made our way to the bar anfter the sweet hostesses greeted us and received services right away. Then, a very sweet man walked over and thanked us for picking up the plant for the sweet lady. Already a wonderful atmosphere upon arrival. We then ordered an appetizer, I don’t remember the name but I know it was scallops, shrimp and some sort of rice dish… it was literally AMAAAAAAZING.For entrees I ordered the lobster ravioli, my partner ordered the shrimp and grits….. let me be the one to tell you, I HATE grits. I said i’d never eat them, never want them, i’m just not a fan… but THESE…… ABSOLUTELY! AMAZING! When we go back, I WANT those because it’s definitely a shinto and grits but GUMBO from the southern taste…. It’s sooooooo good! Forgive me, right now I want to scream because the photos I took are gone ??? but just know that this is literally now my GO 2 spot whenever we come back. The EXECUTIVE Chef Dan came and talked to us (the same man who thanked us upon arriving) asked us how the food was, chatted with us, gave us some insight on the food, like the whole experience was just absolutely AMAZING! This was MY very first time on the beach at all EVER so the experience was IMPECCABLE.. especially here. I did NOT take enough photos. I wanna go back so bad I loved it. Dan, THANK you for your amazing food. That lobster ravioli has my HEART.We did manage to take a selfie there.

First time visiting since moving to OIB in October and thoroughly enjoyed our date night eating up in the Tiki Bar section on a beautiful April evening. Got to watch the sunset and a storm rolling in across the Intercoastal as well!Staff was friendly, hardworking, and accommodating especially the sweet young lady that I believe was hostess/runner upstairs (didn’t catch her name)and our server, Lauren. Food was superb, we were constantly checked on and we were amazed how quickly we were served even on an extremely busy Saturday night. Thoroughly enjoyed my Grouper Francaise ?as it came (see ? as presentation was lovely) and couldn’t even eat the entire portion. Hubby got the Shrimp ? and Grits which had a nod towards a low country boil and we began with the tasty Hummus appetizer ?. Be sure to try the Jinx Juice ?for a special treat!Only thing that would’ve made it better was not having to listen to a rude, entitled & obnoxious gal from a large ladies group berate the bartender over the price of her cocktail ?.

This review is from a couple of folks that are easy to please, however feel the same way as what Betty Ann posted below:The mistake we made that was different from Betty was that we stayed for the meal, just a party of two, pretty much ignored due to the larger parties around us, including the chef or whatever he was visiting tables all around ours…Food was OK, too much money for the portion, we felt like cattle in the large noisy crowd. Service catered to larger party=larger tips even though The larger parties were from out of town as we could hear the “chef” asking them. Would think they most likely will never be going back often…..and we live local…. Very unfortunate…. Would love to go there, but will never go back again or recommend to our renters.Betty Ann Causey review, 9/2023.The place is in a nice area, and I didn’t walk up to the tiki bar, so this review is strictly concerning the restaurant. When we walked in the host was playing rap music on her phone, yes loud enough for us to hear. What job allows that? and the face piercings aren’t the most appealing thing, however to each their own. The restaurant area is very small and the the chairs are plastic. The restaurant was almost completely empty. The waitress looked rode hard and put up wet. We took a look at the menu and decided it wasn’t for us. $20 for tacos? Really? And I’m sitting in a plastic chair? No thanks! When we told the waitress we were leaving she got upset. Won’t return and also won’t recommend.

Unfortunately we did not get to try the food because our dinner reservation wasn’t honored. I had a detailed conversation with an employee over the phone about two weeks before an 80th Birthday dinner we wanted to have for our multigenerational family group of 20. Unfortunately when we arrived, cake in hand, the dining room was closed for a private event. The server who came over to greet us seemed annoyed we were there. “Well they were calling everyone with reservations to cancel, you should have gotten a call” she said to me and walked off. I wish we had a chance to try your restaurant but really hope you can train staff taking reservations to be sure you can accommodate them. And please also make sure your staff have some basic customer service skills so if you cancel reservations with no notice, they at least offer an apology.

Came about an hour prior to sunset and my shrimp and scallops over angel hair pasta had an amazing pink sauce that reminded me of thick and creamy lobster bisque soup! I couldn't have asked for a better meal! Well worth the $37.00. And we had a beautiful pink and orange sunset.

The salmon was very good here. Fast and efficient service. Wish our server Barb was as enthusiastic, chatty and cheerful with us, as she was with the party of 8 that came in and sat next to us. She was very personable with them as opposed to us. Guess that’s how it goes when you know you’ll be getting a bigger tip.

We sat upstairs outside. Had a beautiful view of the sunset. The food was amazing, but I felt the small piece of fish with rice was overpriced at $37 when most dinners were not as expensive. Our server was very friendly and informative.

Upstairs bar is great, also full menu. Cocktails are below average, stick to basic / simple things. Pricey for what it is but understandable. Food is just alright. Friendly staff all around. Geta really packed during peak hours.

We had the best time at this rooftop experience! Bridget and Adam did such a great job serving us, and the food was absolutely wonderful! The grouper fricassee, and the Jewel of the sea was so tasty! Great food, wonderful drinks, and an amazing view! We are so thankful for the great service we experienced. We also met some new friends as we sat at the bar! We will definitely be back and suggest it to anyone coming to the area!

Nice place. Beautiful view. A casual experience but fine dining prices. Not as "local" as I had hoped. Terrific photo ops. Best drink is the Lime & Coconut!
