Ocean Isle Beach Pier

Our instructor, Dean, was amazing!! 🐟 He was so patient and supportive, even though we were absolute beginners to the sport. Marta made sure that all of our arrangements were set and that we had pictures taken to mark the occasion. ❤️ I highly recommend taking Fishing 101 with these wonderful people!🎣 I would give them a 10/10!!!

The parking attendants were very rude and very unprofessional. We were watched,followed and harassed. we were given permission to park to walk on the pier (which you also have to pay for) so when we finished walking the pier we went to look at the water and when we were down there the parking attendant came up to us rudely and threatened to tow our car because we stepped foot on the beach. He continued to to raise his voice and threaten us so we told him we would just leave the beach which no one owns. As we were leaving he watched us the whole way till we got to the parking lot and when we got to our vehicle to leave we were pulling out and her yelled at us and came to our car and made us stop to tell us that we are banned from the beach. I would NEVER tell anyone to go to this pier nor beach at that. Everyone we had an in counter with was very rude.

Loved the view from the pier (surfers)! Nice arcade for fun. The cheeseburger from the grill was amazing. We even picked up a few souvenirs from their gift shop. Time we'll spent!

Nice, well maintained pier for ocean viewing and fishing.

Always a fun time

We walked out 2 days ago. Today we watched the sunset from the pier. The sun was so red! The phone camera just doesn't capture the beauty and brilliance.

Just hate the $10 parking fee in addition to the $2 to walk

There used to be a Jaguar XK parked out front frequently, and I think it's been replaced by a Cadillac CTS Coupe. Very disappointing change, the XK was pure eye candy and the Cadillac is very frumpy.

We enjoy walking out on the pier. Fun games inside as well.

The view of the ocean beach is breathtaking for first timers. It wasn't too crowded, had plenty of sea shells and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the day. The pier walk does cost a couple dollars, and if you decide to park at the building, it does cost $10 per day, $5 for half day to park. The gift shop has some interesting items and has some arcade games for the kids. I prefer this spot 100%

Strangely I saw only crows on the pier there were no seagulls. I had a frozen wine cooler that was simply delicious and there was a sweet couple across the street who have a nice beach ship that sadly they are having to close. But because of the closing nothing in the store cost more than $10 and I was able to buy several adorable pieces of clothing. Overall, a very good day.
