My buddy and I stopped into this lovely place on 11/24/25. We had the pleasure of having Tessa as our bartender. My buddy and I like to joke around and have a good time and she was a lot of fun and we had a lot of laughs. We ordered three different things off the menu. We had the banana peppers that were fried like calamari, the crab balls, and pelican bites. The food was outstanding. Definitely much better than expected for a bar environment.
It’s less than three minutes from the beach and like a one minute walk to the water. Definitely worth a visit if you’re down in this area. We will be back again.
The waitress walking around was a very nice young woman and on the way out we had a small conversation with her and she was an absolute sweetheart. It’s nice that they’re still places like this around.!!!!!!!!

The crab cakes weren’t good, and the fries were over cooked. The cakes tasted pre-made/frozen, but still not of good quality. Definitely over priced.

The food is ok. Pelican Dip is the bomb. However we waited 20 minutes to get our check. We even asked other employees for help during this time and none seemed overly helpful. Maybe train your servers to ask for help if they are in the weeds.

move to this area apartment 4 months ago and found the pelican grill just about pure accident the food was good service was decent a little pricey but not too bad but every time there's something going on they refuse to answer the phone they refused to do take out orders and my wife and I generally do not eat out that often we just go get it take it back home I drive almost 40 minutes here to find out that they're not doing takeout orders and I think that's totally everyday because if you don't want to do take out orders that's fine but let's see how long the tourists keep you in business during the winter months cuz you've lost me as a customer for good I will never come back
