Seabreeze Bar & Restaurant

Horrible service. Ordered food and there was only one other table that did not have their food yet and that table came in after us and we waited over an hour and still no food. The table that came in after us got both their appetizers and their meals and the waitress still has not brought our food out and had no information on what was holding it up. Worst restaurant I have been to in years. We decided not wait any longer and pay for the soda a supposedly complementary soup that the waitress offered since the wait was so long. Since we did not want to continue to wait after over a hour in any empty restaurant the waiter charged us for the soup. I now see why this restaurant has such low ratings. Please do yourself and your stomach a favor and go to a different restaurant if you want to eat in a timely manner.

We were a large part of 6 and managed to get the whole place being empty without a reservation. Got the burger and it was huge! Coconut shrimps were quite yummy!! Can’t forget the fresh cut chips.

Came on a Friday for the buffet with my family. Caribbean night was the theme, and they had live music. The staff was friendly, and the dining room has great views of the inner coastal waterway. The shrimp, salad, fruit, ribs, and some of the desserts were pretty good. The chicken was dry and nothing really stuck out. Not a bad price, but nothing to rave about..

It must be one of the best kept secrets in OIB. Love the food and eat on the beautiful river side is just great. The service is always good and the food is delicious.

We had a group of ladies for a luncheon...a variety of dishes were ordered. Mostly frozen heated...not fresh. We probably would not return. The service was great and the facility was very nice.

We love Sea Breeze Cafe. The atmosphere, and food is amazing. Their cauliflower bites are the bomb. Ask for Mo. She is the best server and knows how to make the best martinis!!!

Never had a bad experience here until today, 5/24. Ordered a blue burger medium. Got a black hockey puck on a open bun. Cut it in half, burned to a crisp. Waitress, who never told us her name brought it back. Never asked what I wanted to do. 20 minutes later I got a new one, still well done not med, and the 2 people I was with were done. The chef for lunch that day should have come out to talk to me. Took home and the dog seemed to like it. Other 2 guests enjoyed their meal. The waitress never came by for a drink refill in those 20 minutes.

I would give this place a 7/10. The food was fairly decent, was not bad but also wasn’t as amazing as some previous reviews highlighted upon. If you like serving yourself and not having to wait to be served 30 minutes later, I would say that this spot is for you. The location is honestly a lovely little plus because after finishing up our desserts and drinks, I was able to take a nice lovely stroll near the waterside after. Don’t come here for an anniversary dinner. It was not the most romantic setting and it wasn’t the most welcoming atmosphere either. Received a lot of judgmental stares (not sure if it was race based or the fact that my partner and I are an interracial couple), which ruined the vibes of the night. However, that does not reflect the restaurant itself so refocusing on that, if you like a good seafood buffet then this is a nice spot you should try!

Italian buffet had great selections. Get there early so the food is at its hottest. Taking a star off since I called after they opened to request a certain area of seating away from the music. Nobody answered the phone. I left a detailed message with my phone number. Upon arrival I was told “we did not get your message” and “you have to communicate with us through the Yelp app”!? So why do they have an answering machine prompting leaving a message? We were seated right by the music while a table in the other room remained empty the whole time we were there.

I’ve eaten here for lunch when I’m in town and it’s been great! I finally got a reservation for a Friday night buffet and it was delicious! So much food! And the desserts were delicious!

Hands down the best lunch we had in Shallotte Ocean isale beach. Burgers were cook perfect. Shrimp wrap was great. The chicken bacon jam was the best I ever tasted. The view was a great addition and the service I can not say enough about. Must
