Everyday the Sunset Slush employees work hard pushing their carts up and down Ocean Isle beach to serve refreshing Italian Ice to the locals and vacationers. If you buy a koozie, each day you can bring it with you and get refills at a discount price. The employee said that if you visit the next year the koozies are still good for refills.

It was a great way to end the night. Smooth tasting flavors that almost taste like ice cream but dairy and fat free! Atmosphere and service were also top notch.

We call them Black and Yellow because of the black and yellow umbrellas on the carts at the beach. The store is much better than the carts because they have so much more variety. The also have ice cream and it’s blue bell which is my favorite. The staff is really nice and helpful.

Who doesn’t need sunset slush while hanging out on the beach??!! Here comes the Italian ice cart, grab your cash! Soaked with Atlantic salt- who cares right?!? You are on the beach. There will be a line of kids running down the beach like they are chasing the ice cream truck. Enjoy! Fav flavors strawberry, orange cream, lemon, or peach mango.
Stopped by last minute to grab a birthday treat, and Bella, Ian, and Aiden worked together to get the slushes out to us before they closed up for the night! Very kind and respectful, will definitely come back

It's your run-of-the-mill Italian ice place. The staff there are fast and friendly. However, a customer in the line had to wait to order because the girls were distracted by some guy further back in the line resembling someone they knew. One had to pull up a photo to show the others and all go and show the guy and OMG over the coincidence before they could get back to the people ahead of him. Once they got back to it, they quickly got the line down so ??♀️

This place was really cool, no pun intended. My child loved the slush. My only gripe is that I couldn't have one because I didn't see any sugar free or low sugar options. They did have some of the best candy options and prices nearby and that's saying something since there are at least 2 dedicated candy stores in OIB.
