In a time when inflation is rapidly changing the value equation of dining out, M & M was outstanding exception. We arrived on a boat and wanted to treat ourselves after a rough day on the water. But bar food was getting monotonous, so we picked this venue. What a great choice: fresh shrimp almost right off the local boats, entree selection varied and vast, prep, presentation, and vibe all excellent. And NOT crazy expensive! Will hit it again upon our return.

Prices were 25% to 50% lower here (depending on the item) than in Virginia and Maryland and the food was better. My husband and I ordered the grilled scallops and tuna and shared. They were both wonderful. Very friendly bartender and local diners. Highly recommend.

"Arrr, it’s been a fair spell since I’ve dined at M&M’s, but even when the power went out in port—courtesy of some scallywag takin' out a power pole in Shilo—the corn crab chowder was as delightful as I recall! A hearty salute ter the crew fer keepin’ the spirit alive, with prices and fare as bountiful as in the glory days of the ’90s and 2000s. Great food and drinks! Friendly staff and good times all around. Buffalo shrimp special and crab cakes were awesome.
Parking: No parking lot. Have to park on the street. May have to walk a block or two.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are absolutely welcome here and would have no issues finding something to eat.

We first ate here when we came to look at a sailboat and it's been our go to place ever since. The soft shell crab sandwich is fabulous and you must get the spinach & garlic! Drinks are great and service is friendly and personable.

Pet sitting with 2 cats and 2 parrots in Oriental. The folks I was sitting for took me the night before the sit started and I returned for lunch on my own a few days later. Very good food, friendly people, pleasant environment but nothing special. I had the soft shell crab special - 2 nicely fried small crabs, potato salad and creamed spinach for sides. All of the food was very good. Too often potato salad is made with miracle whip instead of mayo and is too sweet. This potato salad was not too sweet. Soft shell crab was so good that I ordered a sandwich special when I went back for lunch.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp but the restaurant can be crowded so difficult to maneuver a wheel chair.
