The lobster roll with potato salad was so delicious. I loved the chocolate pie, it was just heavenly. I sat on the screened in eating area. It was lovely seeing the beautiful sailboats. Our waitress was so sweet. I can’t wait to go back! After eating we walked down to the dock and admired paradise.Parking: Plenty of parking. I believe it had two areas for parking. It was very clean with gravel parking.Kid-friendliness: It is a very easy going place. I would take my daughter. I’m sure she would love it too!

Absolutely love this restaurant! My parents moved to Oriental a few years ago, and every time I visit we always go to M&M’s. This past weekend they just happen to have a lobstah roll on the special’s menu …naked with drizzled butter. I should have ordered two! Visiting from DC, I come to Oriental for a little peace….M&M’s never disappoints with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Add eating at M&M’s on your must-do list!

We had a great meal with excellent service. Sat on the porch. Fish and chips was great and the penne pasta with shrimp and scallops was also delicious. The servings were very generous. The local brew…Gaelic Ale was really good. Prices were reasonable and service was great.

We had a fantastic on a beautiful Saturday evening. The weather was perfect for sitting outside in the screened in porch. We were seated immediately despite arriving at peak dinner hour (7pm) and drink orders were taken within 5 minutes of arrival. We (bride and I) ordered a bowl of crab/corn chowder to split for a starter and she had a large Greek salad and I had the Lambchop special. The HUGE bowl soup arrived piping hot and the corn and crab played well off eachother and delivered a sweet, velvety taste of the sea! My wife’s salad was.a large bowl of greens, feta, kalamata olives, cucumbers, pepperoncini, onions and ripe tomatoes. She was VERY pleased with the homemade Greek dressing she ordered on the side. My lambchops (3) were large and meaty and cooked exactly to order (med rare)! They were seasoned perfectly and the two sides I ordered (brussel sprouts and spinach) were both perfectly on point! I have to admit, after reading several disparaging (recent) reviews we were a little suspect, but do not worry, this place knows their stuff (both front on the house and kitchen) and they take great pride in delivering a great experience! 5-Stars here folks…and great prices to boot!
We dine here every few years when we are in the area and M& M never disappoints. The seafood is always fresh as expected and the service was spot on. Will definitely recommend to anyone traveling thru or visiting Oriental NC. ?

Abhorrent customer service. After being seated, we waited about 15 minutes before two more groups had arrived. After about 5 minutes a waitress came and took their orders, but we had still not been introduced to our waitress. After another waitress came by we asked if anyone knew we had not been waited on and she asked who our server was. We told her we didn’t know and she said she would figure out. No one had asked us for a drink order or anything at this point in time. Twice we saw two waitress poke their heads out the door and look at us. After another 5 minutes a waitress had took a groups food behind us and we finally were told she’d be back with us in a minute. After another 5-10 minutes we decided to leave. Very disappointing because we had been looking forward to eating here again after we first tried it two years ago.

@barrescue really needs to get ahold of this place. By far the worst experience we have ever encountered at a restaurant. We were on a mini vacation in Araphoe, NC. After waiting for drinks near 15mins, food for over an hour, we finally decided to leave after taking two bites of a terrible appetizer that had been reheated in the microwave before serving it to us. We were seated outside of the kitchen and could see them reheating multiple dishes during our time there. The staff we encountered were rude and very unprofessional! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Service was upstanding, My shrimp were way overcooked and like rubber. I did mention to waitress and was told the better cook wasn't there that night and never offered to make it good.
