1 Star – Disappointing Experience at Fuller’s on Raeford Rd
My 81-year-old father and I decided to have dinner at Fuller’s on Raeford Rd, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food quality and presentation were both terrible. Of the few dishes available, most were completely dried out or just looked unappealing — including the fried and baked chicken, roast beef (at least that’s what I think it was), and two fish items that were unidentifiable.
The corn was pale and dried out, and the only fruits offered — pineapple and peaches — looked dry, shriveled and unappetizing. The buffet selection overall was poor, and none of the items were labeled, making it hard to tell what was available. And where was the BBQ that Fuller’s is supposed to be famous for? We didn’t see any.
When I politely voiced my concerns to the “manager,” Kaden, he smirked through the entire conversation and seemed more focused on my comment about the corn than the overall issue. His only response was to offer to have the kitchen make some fresh corn — completely missing the point. He didn’t seem ready to manage anything, let alone handle customer feedback professionally. He also asked what time we came in, which shouldn’t matter. If they’re charging full price for the buffet, then the full buffet should be available. If what we saw was the full buffet, I truly feel ripped off.
Our total bill would have been $38.56, but we received a 10% senior discount, which was appreciated — though it doesn’t make up for the overall experience. Compared to other buffets in the area at the same price point, this place is a joke. Sadly, I can’t recommend it. FYI the wait staff was nice. No complaints there.😢🤢👎

The food here is amazing 👏 with such great flavor this place will make you hurt yourself because you want to try everything and go back for seconds.
I think the term “Old Fashioned” is used poorly, in this situation. First time I was here, didn’t start well with seeing they change prices WILDLY for different times and days of the week. To have $20+ in an average buffet is enough reason not to come back, but then you see the food. I see more bland, US Foods/Sysco pour out of a can items than anything home cooked. Shrimp was the smallest I’ve ever seen, Mac-Cheese was dam near watery, beans and corn straight out of a can, didn’t see any sauces, no hash, sausage had no seasoning in it. I didn’t find anything that I would’ve put on my plate twice
I have tasted better from a $10.99 gas station hot bar Not to mention a/c was dripping on us everywhere we went
I grabbed a to go plate my food was delicious. This place was packed!! That’s how you know it’s delicious!
