Disappointed our party of 6 was sat at the bar for tasting and unable to talk with each other despite a reservation. Proceeded to dinner and denied a table for 6 because a party of 5 was coming and only 2 people were seated there. We were seated at a very large table for 7 and asked to move but were denied

From the great wines to the well run tasting room and restaurant, Jolo Winery and Vineyards is the best experience around. I am glad it is so close to home. Jon Kroll, Pilot Mountain.

I've been to JOLO at least half a dozen times and it has yet to disappoint. We did have to wait for our table following our tasting, but Samira (our tasting host) made sure we had a complimentary glass of wine to enjoy while we waited. The food was outstanding, and the wines keep getting better and better!

We did a wine tasting and then dinner. The service from the moment that we were seated for the tasting was fantastic. The entire staff was aware and engaged in trying to make sure that me and my party of 4 had an excellent experience. The wine was delicious and the lady who provided our tasting was extremely knowledgeable. At dinner everyone enjoyed the crab dip and Thai shrimp appetizers. My husband and I loved the goat cheese salad that we split and all of the entrees were delicious. The grouper, frutti de mare, and filet were all expertly prepared and all had great flavor profiles.

Always an outstanding experience. Tasting was great, Levi was very knowledgeable and passionate explaining the wines and all the flavors to be expected. Then dinner was amazing, 3rd time here, never failed. We had family in town and they have been to many wineries around the country and said these were some of the best red wines they have ever had. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience! It is very difficult to get good food and amazing service now. I appreciate the tailored experience for both. I loved our tasting experience with Maranda. She had a full table, but her presentation was effortless and fun! Thank you JoLo

We lucked out for Valentine's day and had a table in a cozy little room with one other table. Our server, Jerri, was fabulous. She helped us choose a wine with our dinner, and we selected Gallows Reserve. The moment my wife and I took the first sip, we both said "wow." We ordered dessert and Jerri recommended the Muddy Paws. I ordered it through the quarterly wine club selection but hadn't tried it yet. Perfect pairing of the 'Port-style' wine. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening. Looking forward to our next visit.

We went for brunch on Super Bowl Sunday so it was not crowded. We were given the standard menu and a brunch menu. We had a goat cheese appetizer from the main menu to start. It was delicious. My wife had a mimosa that was a combination of a sparkling wine, orange juice and sweet vermouth. She really enjoyed it. The brunch menu is limited with only 3 items. This surprised us. I had the flank steak and eggs. It was very good. My wife had a breakfast flat bread which she enjoyed.

Had another lovely lunch at JOLO celebrating Gwen's birthday! This has become an annual tradition since we both love the wine, food, ambience, staff and setting at JOLO. We started with a bottle of Crimson Creek, the spectacular 2022 vintage that has become a favorite, paired with the Spicy Thai Shrimp appetizer, definitely our favorite! I ordered the delicious Salmon Scampi and Gwen loved the Grouper dish. She ended with a scrumptious slice of the flourless chocolate torte. You can't find a better place to have a relaxing afternoon or celebrate a special occasion!

First time visiting and we had both a tasting and lunch. Both were excellent. The staff was pleasant, efficient and very knowledgeable with suggestions. All was as good as the reputation of the winery. The wines are very good overall and the food is out of sight. Kudos to them.

Had a wonderfully quiet lunch at JoLo today. Thursdays seem to be their quietest day and we loved having all the great attention all the staff gives you. The best part of today's lunch was a new entree, Eggplant Rollatini. Apparently, I was the first customer who has tried it because this was the first day on the menu. This is definitely the BEST dish I have had here and will order it again and again. Beautifully presented three crispy thin slices of eggplant fried to perfection and stuffed with the creamiest ricotta cheese mixture, all topped with an amazing chunky tomato sauce and garnished with parmesan and fresh basil. I fell in love at first bite. Crispy creamy tangy and oh so good! Kudos to the chef and for Kristen Ray for getting this on the menu. Paired this with Carolus XII. Perfecto!!!

We had an absolutely lovely evening with our wonderful waitress; Victoria. The food was excellent and timely. We were welcomed and enjoyed a warm reception from beginning to finish. We have always enjoyed their food and hospitality. Never disappointed.

We have done wine tastings all over the world, this has to be in the top 3 experiences. We had a tasting followed by dinner, all was spectacular. Many times during tastings there is constant pressure to up-sale the wine club. We did not experience that, at all. Levi was great explaining the wine varietals. We had guests in from Chicago and I felt the need to temper their expectation of the wine, NC not being renowned for our wines. To say we were surprised by the quality of the wine would be an understatement! If you have time, you need to visit JOLO!!
