We ate at The Tilted Ladder tonight and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. We’re locals to Pilot Mountain, so dining here is something we do regularly and Ayven absolutely loves it.
Tonight, even though Nikki Clian wasn’t our server, she went out of her way to make our visit special. Ayven recognized her and went straight to her. Nikki picked him up, took him with her to a table, and even let him help deliver food to keep him entertained while we waited for ours.
Talk about going above and beyond especially for a table that wasn’t even hers. That’s my kind of restaurant and people. 🥰We are so grateful for her kindness and the amazing service we always receive at The Tilted Ladder!

So I love a good hometown restaurant and that’s what this place is! Everyone knows the “regulars,” especially Julie! lol. It feels warm and inviting! The Christmas decor is too cute!
Get the fried pickles!!!! But know that it’s a “shareable size.”

Found this hidden gem on my way down from OH to NC. Owner promptly greeted us when we walked in and ensured every customer was happy. Food was outstanding and service was equally as good. A little off the trail but definitely worth the extra few minutes. A must stop for future visits. Well done Crystal and team!

I've never had anything bad here! The burger is great, and the fried pickles, pretzels, chicken tenders, mozzarella bites, ranch dressing are also really tasty! Servers and bartender are very friendly! Altogether, great atmosphere and food! Go give a try!

We stopped in for a mid afternoon lunch and a beer. It's an old hardware store turned really cool restaurant. Great vibe, excellent service and good food. There was a nice outdoor seating area / courtyard that looked fantastic. It was a little breezy, so we sat inside. Great place!
