Went 3/23/24 around noon. Got two different cupcakes. One key lime, which had absolutely no key lime taste to it, and one lemon and something. The lemon one was average. The cupcakes themselves were not moist either. The icing was pretty decent on both. So all in all, it's just average. Nothing special, or worthy of making a special trip for. Girl at counter seemed nice.

You must try the vibrant flavor of the Florida Key Lime cup cake. This lime green cup cake is light with a keylime topping that is fresh baked with top-quality ingredients. Gluten-free is available. I do recommend you call ahead to make sure they have the specific flavor you want. Special order what you want. They can do custom gluten-free free orders! Great for golf parties: birthdays, anniversary, church groups, family reunions, Valentines Day, St. Patrick' Day, cookouts, tailgating, etc. You owe it to yourself, family, friends, business premiums.

Yummy selection. Cotton candy was my favorite. The lady at the counter seemed short with us and kind of annoyed when we asked questions. I’ll never understand why people who are selling a product aren’t kind and welcoming to the patron.

C. Cups Cupcakery: Although two locations currently exist, the original shop opened in Southern Pines in 2011. I happened to visit the second location in downtown Pinehurst. The shop offers a myriad of unique cupcake varieties. As much as I would have liked to try them all, my wallet and waistline are probably glad I didn't. The following is the description and my thoughts on the varieties I tried.Dulce de Leche: Tres leches cake, vanilla buttercream, caramel. The vanilla buttercream was thick and flavorful, but the caramel was a little messy and not as strong a flavor as I hoped. As for the cupcake itself, it reminded me of one of the final bites of a stack of pancakes that has been sitting in syrup for a long time and has become soggy. This one was just okay.Salted Caramel: Chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, rich caramel and sea salt. Even though I prefer vanilla to chocolate, I found this to be a step up from the Dulce de Leche. Again the buttercream was thick and flavorful and the caramel was a little messy. This time around the caramel had more flavor thanks to the addition of sea salt. I think the salted caramel flavor could have been stronger though, so this one is also just okay. Monster Cookie: Peanut butter cake, cookie dough icing, oats, chocolate chips, and M&Ms. My Dad actually got this one but was nice enough to let me try a little. The peanut butter flavor of the cake is mild, but still satisfying since there's so much other stuff going on flavor wise. It's most unique aspect is the cookie dough icing that has a slightly gritty texture thanks to all the crystallized sugar. A dash of chocolate flavor is contributed by the chocolate chips and M&Ms, while the texture of the oats is also noticeable. Doughboy approved. PB&C: Chocolate cake, peanut butter icing, Reese's crumbles. This was my favorite cupcake of the batch. The peanut butter icing delivered a fully packed peanut butter flavor that was only intensified by the Reese's crumbles. Personally, I would have preferred it on a vanilla cupcake and that the Reese's crumbles covered all and not just half. Still very good and Doughboy approved. Brownie: Lastly, I couldn't leave without trying a brownie. C. Cup's version is mostly chewy with chocolate chunks within it. The exterior/edges are crispier and more cake like, but the interior is softer and chewier (which is how I like it). I wish it would have had some chocolate frosting to top it off or powdered sugar at the least. Although it's not the best brownie I've had (I still would argue that would be the ones I make) it is still delicious. Doughboy approved.Doughboy_Food_Reviews

We had the pleasure of serving gf mini cupcakes and a an outstanding gf birthday cake. Being gf I can honestly say that these products are outstanding! Moist even after a few days. I will definitely be ordering mini cupcake toasted coconut to keep in freezer for a sweet treat. Thank you

Cannot say enough great things! Not only was this EXACTLY how I explained it, but it tasted amazing as well! Customer service is off the charts with these girls. This is the first of many cakes I’ll be ordering! Thank you!
I ordered from the Pinehurst location for my grandma's 75th bday. First the service was poor. I walked in and no other customers were in there and wasn't greeted. I had to ask the lady if anyone was going to help me. I've previously visited this location to pick up a cake order and wasn't greeted so I guess this is common. I was given the cake and I did look at it before walking out. However I wasn't sure on what I had sent in the email and since the cake was in the box I couldn't see if the side had the spoon detail. So I get home and take the cake out of the box and it's not anywhere near the cake reference that I sent for order. I called to make the lady aware and showed her the video and she acknowledged that it was different from the emails and said she wished I had told her before I left but she admitted to the cake not being the same. So I'm not sure how or why my actual order email wasn't referenced. Although she offered to fix the cake if I drove back to southern pines (I live an hour away).

Cupcakes are amazing but the process to get a custom cake ordered was very draining. I don’t believe it should take emails and constant phone calls to see what is available.

The butter cream icing was really good. The cupcakes should be bigger, though. These were pretty small.
