I have had clam chowder there many times, drove 35 miles from Sanford to get the chowder today. It has always been very good; today it was horrible. It was loaded, no way overloaded, with bacon. Bad bacon, like some smoky, applewood, weirdo bacon of some sort. Whoever made this batch should be spanked! lol. I know you don't get it perfect every time, but this was just poor management of a dish. Pay attention in the kitchen!!
Just had another incredible dinner at the Drum & Quill. I got the fish and chips and had a side of their seasonal veggies, which tonight was roasted broccolini. My husband got the Guinness beef stew and a tasty salad. All of it was absolutely delicious and served quite quickly. Highly recommend!
